A Little of This & A Little of That ... About Me,
I was raised & educated in Buffalo, NY. I served 25 years active duty US Army and retired as an First Sergeant after an injury during the first phase of the ground war in Iraq. I served in the following locations:
FT. Polk, LA - 5th Infantry Mech. -1982 -1984 - PVT/SP4
Aschenberg, GE. - 3rd Infantry Div. - 1984 - 1987 - CPL/SGT
FT. Eustis, VA - 100th Trans. Co. - 1987 - 1991 - SGT/SGT (P)
Camp Casey, KR - 2nd Infantry Div. - 1991 - 1992 - SGT/SSG
FT. Campbell, KY. - 541st Trans. Co. - 1992 - 1994 - SSG - Combat - OCH
Gulfport, MS. - Gulfport Recruiting - 1994 -1997 - SSG
FT. Hood, TX. - 96th Trans. Co. - 1997 - 2001 - SFC/MSG (P)
Mannheim, GE. - 109th Trans. Co. - 2001 - 2004 - 1SG - Combat - OIF
FT. Campbell, KY - 129th CSB. - 2004 - 2005 - 1SG
I retired on December 01, 2005 and declined promotion to Command Sergeants Major which incurred an additional 2 year services obligation, and 3 years to gain retirement pay at that rank.
My proudest remembrance of service was deploying 162 assigned soldiers to Iraq during the 1st phase of the ground war, and a year later returning 162 soldiers to their loved ones without incurring an accident or injury aside from myself.
If you have questions about the military, I have 25 yrs. of military knowledge and was detailed to serve as a Recruiter for 3 yrs. I do not mind questions about the military life.
After I retired, I went back to College at Bethel University where I studied Business Management & Organizational Development.
I graduated with a Bachelors Degree on December 05, 2010. I had to take a break to settle my mother's estate which took about a year.
I was offered a job as a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist, where my primary duties consisted of helping Disabled Veterans, like myself, (Rated 90% Services Connected Disabled), overcome their physical barriers to gain meaningful employment.
Very Respectfully,

Military, Sports Cars, Harley Davidson Motor Cycles, Masonic History, Gaming.
I played a lot of sports while growing up, I guess that accounts for my knowledge about "Being A Team Player".
Football - 11 yrs.
Baseball - 4 yrs.
Soccer - 4yrs
Hockey - 3 yrs.
Track - 4 yrs. - Long Jump & 440 Relay Run
Cross Country Run Team - 3 yrs.
Boxing - 4 yrs.
Wrestling Team - 3 yrs.
Marksmanship Matches - 6 yrs.
Reserve NY Police Force - 2 yrs.
For some undetermined reason, I have continued to take college courses since 1984 to the present date. I only have 10 months and 23 days of college left that the Veteran Administration will pay for, however if I get close to completing another degree; they will extend my education benefits. I guess that I am a life time student.
