10th grade biology for me. We stopped taking a test when it happened. Sad day. One of my friends was in New York when it happened and thank god she was ok.

Can't believe it's already been 8 years.

is the memorial built yet, i haven't seen any pictures of it or heard any mention?

You’ll know when it has been built; it’ll be all over the news, but yea not yet.

From what I was hearing on the Science channel, there are concepts generated by engineers of the next twin towers. It’s going to be one giant building & symbolic. They are going all out on it, stronger & thicker support frames. You name it it’ll have it, very futuristic structure. I haven’t heard much about it as of now.

I was in 11th grade in high school when it happened. Just heading towards my Spanish class. As I was walking our principal announced the twin tower (the first one) has been attacked and advised us to go directly to your next class and stay there until further notice. Just about everyone, including myself, were shocked and speechless. I didn’t think I was hearing right, but did I just hear one of the twin towers has been attacked? I was thinking small, like a car bomb or a bomb going off at the sight. No, a plan. Than another plane directly at the second building. After school, I headed towards a park that was high in the mountains, where you could use to see the Twin Towers from there. All I saw was thick smoke.

It was a crazy experience, it hit me pretty hard later that day. It continued through out that year. It was just unreal to think something like that could happen. Than hearing there was a plan that fought back. Yea, it’ll always be a part of me.
