BUILDING PC VIRGIN

So I'm looking at building my first gaming PC. Now I'm not looking to building a monster rig, just something that is a bit of a step up from my current "gaming" laptop. Its running GTX 730, 8gb Ram, I always forget the CPU but im 35% sure a quad pro (i bought in back in 2013). The biggest part I'm really worried about is the installation and the parts. I do not know anything about coding. Also, semi worried about the CPU since I honestly do not understand CPU. I'm pretty confident about picking a GPU and RAM (lprolly gonna go with 8g) trying not to break the bank. If i had to guess my overall budget i would say a max of $500

if any of you guys out there could help me out that would be great.

check out cyberpowerpc, there's ones as low as 700, just a little bit out of your price but not to bad. with decent parts in it!

I buy power is also a good place to go, may wanna google then. There’s two directions you can go, Intel or AMD, if you prefer one over the other you can still ram a video card in there.
