Okay I was talking with friends, and we started talking about Call Of Duty 5: Future Weapons. Does anyone know if this game will be released, and if so when?

A Call of Duty 5 will come out, but it doesn't have a name yet. It has been confirmed that a CoD 5 will come out, but no one knows when.

After the success of CoD 4, I'd be surprised if they tried something new already. I'd imagine they'd build on their success in the modern warfare arena.

I herd that CoD 5 is not gonna be produced by infinaty ward. I herd that they sold copyright and everying to some other war-game company.. just a rumor im not sure

if they went back to old weapons i wouldn't mind...as long as it kept the things i love about modern warfare-nice to look at and classes...

Yeah I really enjoyed COD 2. It was a great game. If they do go back to WW2 then it should be a mix of COD 2 and COD 4.

I heard that Infinity Ward will not be involved with COD5 and that it will be set in WW2 again. I also heard a rumor that Infinity Ward is only going to be involved with Even COD's but that may just be random conjecture off of them being involved with 2 and 4 and not 3 and people love patterns.

I would love to see COD5 set in current time like COD4 but with updated weapons, like the PDW (personal defense weapon) supposed to replace the MP5. Same size as the MP5 but fires a 7.62 round. Everybody got tired of not being able to shoot through body armor with the MP5 9mm round, but liked the size. Hence the PDW. That would be cool in COD5 size and mobility of MP5 but damage and range of M16. Kick Ace!

I would hate to see a COD future etc. Turn COD into Halo or Front Lines, come on don't ruin the franchise.
