Capcom announced today that it is the latest in a laundry list of companies to license Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3 for an unannounced North American project.
Other recent notable companies that have picked up UE3 include Square Enix and Activision, the latter of which just announced its adoption of the engine late last week.

Mark Beaumont, Capcom head of software publishing in North America and Europe, called UE3 “one of the most powerful and versatile” next generation development tools.

"More than just a graphics engine, UE3 will empower the development team to create the quality experience that gamers expect from a Capcom product,” he added in a statement.

Other companies that have announced the licensing of Unreal Engine 3 include Electronic Arts, Sony Online Entertainment, THQ, Midway, Atari, Gearbox, 10Tacle Studios, SCEA and NCsoft.
