I put a lot of work into this and I really like how it turned out.
I made in GIMP added text in elements. Also this is like my first sig in 3 months.

It's alright, what did you do other than change the colors and add some text? Maybe some brushes beside his face? I can't tell anything else though.

Not bad, I like how it's subtle and not over the top, so you're not just plastering the picture with brightness, the blur also adds a nice touch to it. Very good for a simple, stylish signature.

The black and white doesn't really suit this picture—makes it boring.
That's just my opinion, I know you won't like it.

Well I added a brush instead of the crowd. The main work was figuring out what to do in the particular image, because I didnt want to ruin it by adding fractals and c4ds all over. And I didnt want it to be to busy.

I could see how some C4D's could work, if used properly ... but you're right for the most part: the odds are against them working. I think some smudging would've done it justice. Strategic smudging and better colors. Maybe some bloom effects? Maybe some motion blur? I started out in Paint then moved to GIMP, and now I have Photoshop ... but I know that GIMP has PLENTY of effects and PLENTY of things you could use that I think you may have overlooked.

My suggestion would be to go to YouTube and look up some tutorials for those various effects.

And why did you use a different program for text? GIMP could've done what you did.

My trial ran out ticket and Im not gonna get it illegally.
My GIMP text doesnt work, Ive redownloaded about 400,000 times and still nothing. I just do it in elements because If i want to make it transpartent with a border I can do that easily.

Oh and on GIMP, I dont really look into effects, its not that I dont like them but from all of my work, its just become a habit to only use renders, c4ds, and blurs. I will look into effects on that sig but no promises on its success.

yes but you shouls add C4Ds fractels space stocks etc to add efx

Well the main idea of this sig was simplicity. Im not going to change that. By flipping out with fractals and c4ds. I would however add clipping masks if I figured them out in gimp. That may help the sig.

Just little subtle C4D's and maybe some brushes or smudges or color overlays or sharpening, blurring or anything.
