try to avoid putting text in corners & i would move your focal towards the middle a little more but dont center it. what program do you use?

I agree with Sakura, avoid putting text in corners; rather, put it near the focal and together. For when you learn more about making sigs, add more effects to your sigs so that it does not have negative space. Take Sakura's sig for example, in the background there are a few effects which are a mix between smudging, space stocks, C4D's and some Bokeh. For a first Sig though you did a good job. If you want to get good as fast as possible, make sure you do tutorials so that you can learn the program that you are using at its best. Keep it up!

nice one for a first try. Never tried CS5 but I would recommend visually following tutorial off youtube for a first time to get familiar with the program.
