COMPLAINT - WITH RESPECT

I Looked everywhere for the proper place to put this, and found most threads had not been viewed in months, so I ended up here, my appologies if this is the wrong spot.

First, a place for non member to report your members for abusive conduct would be a nice feature, I joined just to let you know about a couple of your members behavior.

As a father who plays with his 13 yr old son i appreciate the lobbies we get into and can chat, do callouts, and enjoy meeting people. What I don't like are running into disrespectful individuals with horrible emblems or lobby chatter that is rude, racist, and downright disrespectful.

We ran into a Lobby of your xgc team the other day, and while some were quiet and/or nice, 3 in particular were just flat out disgusting.

I am putting the lobby chatter on youtube blast so i am sure you can find it and hear for yourself the whole conversation, dont just take my word for it, I have no grudge or vendetta here.

We had beat the team in a match and they returned to the lobby to begin to tell us how we sucked and were no good, thats fine, all good lobby chatter, then xgc corruption decided to start calling us ***s, and ***, and ****s. And telling us how he was gonna shove our ****s down our throats in the next match.

We we proceeded to win, the it continued with all 3 of the above mentioned, yelling, ****s, ***gots, suck my ****, your mother should have swallowed you, etc.

Mostly I would just laugh stuff like this off if i was alone, but I had my 13 yr old playing with me, he muted them pretty quickly, but I found their actions to be disgusting and from what I read, not becoming of an xiled member, not following your code.

My goal of this is simply just to inform the leaders and other members of how xgc is coming off to the community with guys like this playing under your flag, I like your website and it appears you have a great thing going here with tons of respectful members and leadership, unfortunately these three are not some of them.

First off, I would like to apologize to you for something like this happening because it shouldn't in the first place. First and foremost we are a community about respect even those of us in Syndicate who can trashtalk don't go as far as those individuals did and also noting the fact that in XGC they cannot talk crap to begin with. I hope that you do not think that those members are a direct reflection on everyone in this community because I can assure you that they are not. Also what is the name of the video so that leadership can find it.

i find the responses to this post very encouraging as a new member. i do not have XGC as any part of my username and think that anyone who does should bear the responsibility along with that privilege. with that attached u are representing the community here and run the risk of disparaging a lot of people with reactionary and short sighted behaviour. from my experience thus far i have found people to be friendly, respectful and very welcoming and it saddens me to see these same people tarred with the same brush as those who may have misrepresented the community as a whole. again, i am encouraged with the leaderships willingness and interest in resolving the matter with respect and fair consideration of events.

I'm sure that those individuals will be dealt with and should learn a lesson from having their gamertags called out like that. I'm not sticking up for any of them or for ppl that give XGC a bad rap... and I'm a girl that gets to hear every female slander and rude thing said over xbox. HOWEVER, that being said...if you and your 13 yr old son are playing a game with a MATURE rating...for example: BLOPS2: Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Suggestive Themes, Drug Use...Content is generally suitable for ages 17 and up. Online game play may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language as determined by online interaction. Obviously ratings are used at your and parent's discretion...and such rated games shouldnt be played by children under the appointed age. This by all means, like I stated earlier, does not give any XGC member the right to break the honor code and/or act the way it sounds like they did.

It goes to show all of us respectful gamers out there that the bad apples reflect on our communities good name. To me having XGC in my gamertag is like a badge Im proud to call this community home an I follow honor code I apologize for the immaturity of those gamers and I myself having children would have did the exact thing you have done by contacting the community. I hope this makes it up to the proper channels so that this matter can be dealt with.

XG is meant to be a place where gamers can be free of the foul language and foul play of certain questionable people. im so sorry you had the displeasure of meeting some people who obviously did a stupid thing. Hopefully you don't think we all are like that, because we arnt :/

First I would like to say thank you Seagull for taking the time to respond to us about your experience. It is very important for us at XGC to represent ourselves with a respectful nature. I am sad that you had to have a bad experience with your son involved as well.
You should know that any member should reflect themselves with Honor, Courage, and Commitment as a solid core value and that this is a community where we represent this EVERY time we play.
I hope that this incident does not discourage you from the gaming experience you would like to have with others in the future and that the matter at hand will be approached promptly.
