You should move your text so that they are together. The same "rules" apply when you make banners. Just like in a signature, you keep the text close to each other. Also, the skull looks a little over sharpened. Overall this has the potential to be a good banner. Keep up the hard work!
Banners are a little tricky because of the size, but you did pretty well.
A centered focal ALWAYS makes text placement even more difficult. That's why we strongly suggest that designers use Rule-of-Thirds when placing their focal and their test. It's a nifty little guideline. =)
No you didn't sound mean at all It was your opinion, and I actually do agree with what you said, the focal kinda blends into the rest, mostly because i had blurred it a bit because I had over sharpened it[i seem to have that issue a lot] so it kinda took away any "stand out-ness" that it had lmao
So while my focal is relatively close to the center, it's a little off to the left. This let me add the text on the right without having to worry about how small the font had to be. Hopefully this helps you.
