Well I'm a bit bored, and found this section, so I figured why not and explain why my GT/SN is what it is. In a nutshell, I'm a major Star Wars fan, clearly, science fiction within itself is a passion, I'm obsessed with it. So anything sci-fi, I would absolutely without a shred of a doubt love. Examples are Firefly, StarTrek, Jupiter Ascending, Dune, the list can go on and on until I'm blue in the face. Anyway, back to the origin, well, instead of being a Jedi, I love the bad guy, in everything, games that give the choice to turn absolutely evil is another obsession, and love them all, being a good guy can be so boring, so why not add a flare for the dramatic and turn evil, slaughtering the townsfolk just for ****s is so thrilling. So yes my friends, Darth is what I chose to represent myself, which is ironic since most ppl call me that these days anyway. Now, Rayven, odd spelling I know, when I was randomly going through the names I wanted to be called, I tried everything under the sun, even tried existing Sith Lords/Dark Jedi, none really worked, which didn't come as a surprise but what the hell, my real life nickname from Middle School to High School was in fact, Raven. Since that too was taken, I decided to just use another spelling of the name, hence Rayven. And now, the last and final hurrah, 666, as most would know, that is the number of the beast, as I am also obsessed with history, I will tell you a bit regarding the origins of such a number, which many would not know. In the Textus Receptus manuscripts of the New Testament, the Book of Revelation (13:17–18) cryptically asserts 666 to be "man's number" or "the number of a man" (depending on how the text is translated) associated with the beast, an antagonistic creature that appears briefly about two-thirds into the apocalyptic vision. Some manuscripts of the original Greek use the symbols χξϛ chi xi stigma (or ϝ digamma), while other manuscripts spell out the number in words. In modern popular culture, 666 has become one of the most widely recognized symbols for the Antichrist or, alternatively, the devil. The number 666 is purportedly used to invoke Satan. Earnest references to the number occur both among apocalypticist Christian groups and in explicitly anti-Christian subcultures. References in contemporary Western art or literature are, more likely than not, intentional references to the Beast symbolism. Such popular references are therefore too numerous to list. It is common to see the symbolic role of the integer 666 transferred to the digit sequence 6-6-6. Some people take the Satanic associations of 666 so seriously that they actively avoid things related to 666 or the digits 6-6-6. This is known as hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia. In a couple of early biblical manuscripts, the number is cited as 616. I apologize if I lost anyone with the wikipedia history lesson, but I figured I should state those facts, however now I must clear somethings up before anyone gets the wrong idea, no, I'm not a Satanist, however the aspects of Satanism within itself are rather interesting, especially if anyone here as actually read the Satanic Bible by the individual Anton LaVey, amusingly enough I have a favored quote from it, "Say unto thine own heart, I am mine own Redeemer." My religious views are simply put, I believe in energy, and the connection of it, and of course Karma. Some of my beliefs are taken from various things, Paganism/Wicca, but I won't go into that. 666 is just a very interesting number for me, since I have found within the course of my life things to tend to by unlucky to most, are very favorable to me, such as the number 13, 666, etc etc. So 666 is what I chose at the end of my GT/SN. Hope you all enjoyed the read, and if you didn't I apologize, I do have a habit of either talking way too much when I'm interested in something, or overstating things, some may consider it a bad habit but, eh, to each their own.
