With the launch of the Xbox 360 came a new generation of gaming, and mixed reviews. While a lot of people have seemed to enjoy what the 360 has been bringing to the table, in terms of visuals and it?s versatility, others have been less than thrilled with it?s lack of ?quality? games that have been released with it. Many people had been looking for the answer to, the popular, Halo series, in Perfect Dark Zero, but were disappointed to find that it could not deliver what Halo does for them. This lack of launch titles has left many, 360 owners, looking for that title that can deliver them a glimpse of the next gen systems, well look no further than Dead or Alive 4.

DOA4 has got some solid game play, very impressive graphics, and more importantly has great replay value. When I first started playing DOA4, I will admit, that the controls were hard for me to grasp at first, mainly because I had never played a DOA game before this, but after a little bit of messing around I eventually managed to gain a grasp on them. So for anyone looking to get into this game, that has not played it before, there is no need to fear, the controls are user friendly. One of the things that has been impressing me about this game, is the different ways you can interact with the maps, one minute you might be fighting in a mansion, next minute you?re knocking your oppenet through the windows and taking the fight outside. And that?s just one of several ways you can use the map to your advantage.

The game play of a game is one thing, but what other people look at are the graphics, and DOA4 won?t let those people down. The visuals of this game are great, you can definitely see the difference between Xbox and Xbox 360 in this game, and I don?t even own a Hi-Def TV. Great game play and great graphics make DOA4 a game that you can play continuously, and get lost in it. The biggest complaint that I have about this game, is that the online play can be laggy from time to time, but it?s not a constant, just when it is it can be quite frustrating.

As a whole Dead or Alive 4 makes for the first real Xbox 360 game to give gamers what they have been looking for, a look into the future. If the rest of the 360 games continue to improve from what DOA4 has given us, then the future looks very bright for the world of gaming.
