Zombie Hunter - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 1,000 zombies.
You won’t have any trouble getting this if you are playing the game from beginning to end…
Zombie Killer - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 10,000 zombies.
Go to the parking lot in Leisure Park and grab the convertible. Head into the tunnels and make your way to the east part of the map that sticks out to the right. Grab the white car there and head to the upper left most part of the map, and hop into the truck. Now, if you want, you can usually make a small lap around the tunnels without the truck breaking but if you don’t feel safe, leave through the west side of the map back into the parking lot. Grab the convertible again and repeat until you get your desired kills. I averaged about 1,000 kills per trip.
Zombie Genocider - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 53,594 zombies.
Refer to the Zombie Killer achievement for tips on how to get this. This achievement will take a long time and is best done in 72-hour mode. Don’t bother with the missions from the start of the game and head straight to the parking lot in Leisure Park if you want enough time.

Self Defense - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 1 psychopath.
Kill 1 psychopath. Note that Carlito, Isabella and the convicts in the Jeep do not count towards this achievement. There are 12 total in the game:

Peace Keeper - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 5 psychopaths.
Kill 5 psychopaths. (Refer to the Self Defense description for more details)
Punisher - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 10 psychopaths.
Kill 10 psychopaths. (Refer to the Self Defense description for more details)
Legendary Soldier - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 10 Special Forces soldiers
You can do this towards the end of 72-hour mode when the special forces come to the mall (considering you’ve been completing your cases), or you can do this in overtime mode. Either way take 10 of these guys down in 1 play through to get this achievement. These guys are tough and the best way to kill them is with the small chainsaws or katana up close, or by using their own machine guns against them. If you've unlocked the megaman buster or laser sword, they usually go down in one shot.
Hella Copter - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Successfully repel a Helicopter
You can get this in 72-hour mode or overtime mode. When the helicopter appears in 72 hour mode after the special forces arrive, grab a sniper rifle from Huntin’ Shack in the North Plaza, go out to Leisure Park, then head to the picnic area near Paradise Plaza and jump up to the roof of it. Keep your eyes peeled for when the helicopter turns at you to start shooting. This is where you can get most shots off and have them connect… I aimed for the front window and took it down after 7-8 connected shots.
Tour Guide - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Escort 8 survivors at once.
Refer to Frank the Pimp for detailed information. You get this achievement along with Frank the Pimp if you follow that guide.
Frank the Pimp - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Simultaneously escort 8 female survivors.
This is how I did it and i found this way extremely easy.
1. Ignore everything until 9pm the first day
3. kill Adam the clown in wonderland, let the guy open the shortcut, then kill him
4. wait in the bathroom til the coward scoop at 9am 2nd day and head to North Plaza
5. Kill the coward, then head over to kill the hatchetman
6. kill everyone locked in the room next to where you killed the hatchetman
7. go to wonderland plaza for the lovers and kill them
Notice at this point you have no survivors... theres a reason for this. You would have to lug these people around while doing these tasks, taking the risk of killing them. But here's where you start your rescues, and you only have to go between Paradise Plaza and Wonderland via the shortcut.
8. by this time it should be nearly 11am... grab pam and heather from paradise plaza (by the toy store first floor)
9. if its after 11am go kill ron in the sandwich shop, if not head back to wonderland plaza and wait til 11am then back to paradise plaza to kill ron
9. wait in paradise bathroom til 12pm then go do "above the law" scoop in wonderland plaza
10. head back to paradise plaza bathroom until 3pm
11. go back to wonderland plaza for the 2 people hanging off the bunny (kill the guy, save the girl)
12. head back to paradise plaza for the cult scene, and save the girl from the crate
please note that it is very important to do steps 8-12 in order
Full Set - 20 points
TYPE: Total REQ: Collect all portraits in the NOTEBOOK.
You basically need to take a picture of everyone you encounter during the game, making sure you trigger every little thing done to find these people. See Saint Achievement for a link to a long detailed well-written guide for this.

Humanist - 20 points

Easily done by rescuing 10 survivors from Otis’ scoop missions. Make sure you find and bring the survivors back to the security room. You do not get the achievement until you finish 72-hour mode. NOTE: You must stop the mutiny by Kindell and Ron or the survivors won’t count in the end.
Life Saver - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Get at least 20 survivors out of the mall..
Moderately difficult but at the same time not too hard. Done by rescuing 20 survivors from Otis’ scoop missions. Make sure you find and bring the survivors back to the security room. You do not get the achievement until you finish 72-hour mode. NOTE: You must stop the mutiny by Kindell and Ron or the survivors won’t count in the end.
Saint - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Get at least 50 survivors out of the mall.
Now this is hard. If you are having trouble with this you’re going to have to find a well-written guide. Because of how much detail is in the game, if I wrote a guide for this it would be longer than this achievement guide.

Strike! - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Send at least 10 zombies flying with bowling balls.
Grab a bowling ball off the wall on the 2nd floor of the sporting goods store in Paradise Plaza (across from Columbian Roast masters). Head to Leisure Park and go to the food court entrance where you will probably see 15-20 zombies lined up. Stand to the side of that group and line up a decent shot. You should be able to get this on your first or second try.
Costume Party - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Place novelty masks on at least 10 zombies.
This was fun. I just grabbed one mask from Child's Play in Paradise Plaza (P102 - refer to map), went out to Leisure Park and put it on a zombie. You can kill them, grab the mask and put it on the next. Do this until you successfully mask 10 zombies.
Raining Zombies - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Knock at least 30 zombies aside with a parasol.
The Parasol (big blue umbrella) is in Al Fresca Plaza. Grab one, press X to tip it forward and start running through crowds of zombies.
Gourmet - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Eat all types of food available in the mall.
Item Smasher - 20 points
TYPE: Total REQ: Break at least 100 items.
You don’t really have to try for this achievement being that it is Total amount broken instead of doing it on 1 play through. You will eventually break 100 items, trust me.
Bullet Point - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Fire at least 1,000 bullets.
72-hour mode: Go to the fountain in Al Fresca Plaza and grab the uzi. Fire off all bullets, leave towards the Entrance Plaza, Re-enter Al Fresca, grab the uzi again and repeat.
Overtime mode: Get a machine gun from a special force agent and kill a few others. It’ll take about 7 of the special force machine guns to fire off 1,000 bullets.
Perfect Gunner - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Don't miss with a machine gun.
This must be done with the Special Ops machine gun as far as I know. Grab a few and head into a highly populated zombie area. Corner yourself and take aim. All 150 bullets must hit, so take it one at a time and take your time. If you miss, switch to another fully loaded gun and start over.
You can also achieve this towards the end of Overtime mode when you are escaping underground. Towards the end there is a jeep that you must escape in with two Spec Op guards nearby. Kill both of the guards and then take the machine gun off the jeep. With the machine gun from the jeep, shoot the jeep until every bullet is used and you should receive the Perfect Gunner achievement.
Photojournalist - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Score at least 1,500 PP from a single photo.
Refer to The Artiste.
The Artiste - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Score at least 3,000 PP from a single photo.
Start a new game and get to the point where you go to the roof through the vent for the first time. Re-unite the man and the woman on the roof. When they see each other they will hug. Take a pic of the hug for up to 10,000 PP. This should take care of this achievement as well as the Photojournalist.
Group Photo - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Get 50 Target Markers with the camera.
In the beginning of the game when the zombies break through the door, head forward and jump on to the little advertisement island in the middle. This way the zombies can’t reach you as you line up a shot getting 50 zombies in the picture. Alternatively, you can head down to the maintenance tunnel and look for a huge group to photograph.
Portraiture - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Photograph at least 10 survivors.
Easily done right when you start the game. When you find the survivors by the front door start taking pictures of each of them. You will get your achievement after the 10th pic is taken.
Census Taker - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Photograph at least 50 survivors.
Start a game. Photo Carlito on the roof. Photo everyone in the entrance plaza before the zombies pour in. Photo Otis and Jessie in the Security room. Photo the 2 people on the roof. Go find Brad in the food court and photo him. Now you should have close to 20 taken. Follow the story and answer Otis’ calls for scoops on survivors. You do not have to rescue them, just go take their pictures. Get 50 pictures for this achievement.
Psycho Photo - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Photograph at least 4 psychopaths.
Refer to Self Defense for locations and times for psychopaths… just photograph the psychopaths before or after you kill them.
Psycho Collector - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Photograph at least 10 psychopaths.
Refer to Self Defense for locations and times for psychopaths… just photograph the psychopaths before or after you kill them.
PP Collector - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Photograph all PP Stickers.
Snuff Shot B - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Successfully photograph zombie Brad
Immediately after completing case 7-2, drive back into the tunnels. Head to the middle section of the map where the tunnel breaks off to what looks like a dead end with no stairs (this is actually an entrance to the underground warehouse). Brad will be right at the end of this tunnel. After the cut scene, photograph Brad for the achievement.
Snuff Shot J - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Successfully photograph zombie Jessie
Head to the security room IMMEDIATELY after you see the cut scene of Jessie feasting on a special force officer. She will be in the hallway where your save bed is. Snap a photo of her for the achievement.
Transmissionary - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Answer all calls from Otis.
Indoorsman - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Spend at least 24 hours indoors.
Start a game and go right into the security room. Stay put for 2 hours REAL time (24 hour in game time) to get this achievement. A good thing to do here is to scotch tape your control stick forward having Frank run in a corner to help with your Marathon Runner achievement.
Outdoorsman - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Spend at least 24 hours outdoors.
Start a game and stay on the roof. Stay put for 2 hours REAL time (24 hour in game time) to get this achievement. A good thing to do here is to scotch tape your control stick forward having Frank run in a corner to help with your Marathon Man achievement.
Freefall - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Drop from a height of at least 16 feet (5 meters).
Jump from the second floor to the first floor in any part of the mall. You don’t get hurt too badly and you’ll get the achievement.
Marathon Runner - 20 points
TYPE: Total REQ: Cover a distance of 26.2 miles (42.195 km).
This will eventually unlock on its own. It is self-explanatory. Refer to Indoorsman and Outdoorsman for a little extra help with this.
Carjacker - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Steal the convicts' vehicle.
After killing all 3 convicts in the Jeep in Leisure Park, just hop into their vehicle to unlock this achievement.
Stunt Driver - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Jump a car at least 33 feet (10 meters).
Easy way to do this: Grab the red convertible in the parking lot in Leisure park. Drive to the wall on the opposite side of the maintenance tunnel entrance and face the tunnel. Line up a dead on shot to the entrance and step on the gas. You’ll get the achievement before the load screen comes up if you did it right.
Stunt Rider - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Jump a motorcycle at least 33 feet (10 meters).
Refer to Stunt Driver, only, grab the motorcycle in the parking lot instead.
Zombie Road - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Walk over 33 feet (10 meters) on the backs of zombies using the Zombie Ride.
In Leisure Park, head to either the Food Court Entrance or the Paradise Plaza entrance where the zombies are lined up at the doors. Use the zombie ride move and walk back and forth over the zombies until you’ve accumulated 33 feet.
Karate Champ - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Defeat at least 1,000 zombies barehanded.
Best done when you are a level 45-50. I started a new game and headed to the food court to grab Wine and nothing else. Go to the maintenance tunnel and disarm yourself by pressing UP on the D-Pad. Use the double Lariat move on the massive amount of zombies in here until you reach 1,000. Having the wine helps in case you are losing a lot of health.
Sharp Dresser - 20 points
TYPE: Total REQ: Change into at least 20 different costumes.
Refer to Clothes Horse.
Clothes Horse - 20 points
TYPE: Total REQ: Change into all costumes available in the mall.
Level Max - 20 points
TYPE: Total REQ: Reach Lv. 50.
As you go through the game you’ll keep gaining level from doing various things, like rescuing survivors and taking pictures. You get the MOST PP from rescuing survivors. You get 500 PP per cultist you kill, 5,000 per Special Force agent. Every 1,000 zombies you get a nice bonus too. Just keep playing over and over until you reach level 50. For a quick way to level up: You need to have unlocked overtime mode, and if you have the megaman buster it’ll be even faster. Head to the warehouse when you start a game in overtime mode, and kill the agents in there (take their guns if you don’t have the mega man buster). Head out through the door to the roof and re-enter the warehouse. If any agent is standing on top of the shelves shoot them, then look down and start shooting the agents on the ground. They won’t shoot back. You’ll level up every 3-5 times you re-enter the warehouse and repeat this.
Unbreakable - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Get the ture ending without being knocked out.
Complete Overtime mode without being killed by a special forces agent. If you get to a scene where you are half naked, caught by the agents and have to wriggle out of ropes, you can’t achieve this.
Overtime Mode - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Unveil all CASES and be at the heliport at noon.
You have to get the “A” ranked ending in 72-hour mode. Easy way: Complete all cases and wait in Carlitos hideout til 10am with Isabella. You should see a cut scene with the special forces at this time (if not, leave the hideout and re-enter and talk to Isabella). After the cut scene, head to the helipad and wait.
∞ Mode - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Get the true ending.
Complete Overtime mode.
3 Day Survivor - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Survive for at least 72 hours.
Received after completing 72-hour mode.
5 Day Survivor - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Survive for at least 5 days.
7 Day Survivor - 20 points
TYPE: 1 Play REQ: Survive for at least 7 days.
