Here's what I came up with:

The text is blurry and hard to read, I'm assuming the opacity was lowered? If so, maybe a bit too much. The background looks more low quality than it does blurred, which I'm guessing you did to add depth. Blurring to add depth can be great but it can also ruin a sig if used too much. I would play around with depth a bit more as your colors and effects are fine.

I actually didn't blur the background at all.

I'm guessing a low opacity or a low quality image then. Either way it's the main thing throwing off the sig.
