So what’s it like? I’m assuming we do have a few or many military members aboard in XGC. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I ask because I plan to join the National Guard, but I wouldn’t mind signing up full-time. That would mean I would transfer to Army since the Nation Guard only does part-time. Three things I wouldn’t mind doing in the military; being part of a K9 unit, a grunt, aviation, or automotive related work. I would say 70% of my application is complete. Just have to schedule the testing part. Wish me good luck. ;) As of when I would go, by next summer.

I spoke to a National Guard at my job and he said the ppl in the AirForce have the top respect. I don't know if that's true but that's what he told me.

My dad was in the army for 4 years then he joined the reserves. He was in the military for 20 years before he retired as an E7 drill sergeant. I thank him everyday for serving this country. And the brave and courageous men and women who fight for the freedom we take for granted.

My Great Grandpa fought in the Vietnam war. My Grandpa served the Navy. I'm not sure what his rank was though but I thank them everyday for serving our country. Hopefully I can continue there legacy and one day be in the Army and serve my country.

One of my older brothers was in the navy for four years while I was in high school. My dad fought in Vietnam and was a tank commander. My grandpa fought in WWII. That's great DK, glad to hear you're enjoying it. How long are you for? Is it more of a part-time or full-time?

Okay, an F-15 pilot was flying over a sparsely populated town. All of a sudden, it the wing is hit by a small crop duster. One drop tank is loose, and the pilot decides to turn back. He tries to turn but can't. The drop tank is leaking and he doesn't want to spill it over the town. He decides to drop his chaff and his spare parachute pack to lighten the craft. Before ejecting, the drop tank falls off, and he curses before being launched out. He reaches the ground and spies 3 boys standing on the street. The first one was crying. The pilot asked, "What's wrong?" The little boy says, "I was playing outside when a big heavy thing falls out of the sky and landed on my bike." The pilot looks over and realizes the chaff hit the bike, pulverizing it. He says, "Sorry son, here's $100." He goes over to the other boy and says, "What's wrong?" The boy replies with a pained gasp, "A big backpack flew out of the sky and hit me on the head..." The pilot looks around nervously, and says, "Sorry son, here's a cell phone. Call 911." He walks over to the other boy. This boy is grinning ear-to-ear. "What're you so happy about son?" The boy replies, "Well, I farted and the house blew up!"
