GAMERTAGS

So I'm new to this website and all, and have played with a few members before. I'm wondering if I'm already in the clan just by signing up online here, or if there are further requirements I must complete. Also, I've only found three XGC members on Xbox, and they're rarely online. So if you wouldn't mind, could you please help me out, either with being recruited or adding members...

*By that last sentence, I mean could anyone:
- Assist me if there are more requirements to complete in order to be recruited into XGC.
- Share member's gamertags, as I'm not really that familiar with who is active or not.

You have to pick if you would like to be in SYN, XGC, or KOG depending on your age then from there talk to a few people in different sections to choose a specific clan you would like to be in for example I'm in XGC and apart of Empty Clip but XGC is 18 years and older and SYN is any age and I'm not sure about KOG but I hope that helps a little

I unfortunately am 16, and won't be eligible for XGC for another year and a half, but I guess I'll try out for KoG( Which I believe is all ages, however I need to know what requirements there are.) I've done some research on each of the different clan sections, and I'm definitely not qualified for Syn, nor wish to be a member of it( no offense). I recently gave away most of my games, as I believe Gamestop prices are expensive, and that my friends shouldn't spend $20 for a game that's been out for two years... Anyways, I mostly play Gears of War 3 these days, and I'm usually on at least five hours a day, maybe more( Depending on how I choose to," live my life." I run, bike, and sometimes swim, but I'm just trying to get through school and get into the college(s) I want to.) That's basically it for my story. I just need to know the requirements for KoG, and members to add online( I mostly just add recent players, and surprisingly most of them I've played with more than I had anticipated)
However, I do have one question about the clans? I heard that if you leave for a trip or vacation, you're out of the clan or something? I just want to confirm this, as I dream of traveling, and intend to become a member of XGC too before I leave for whatever college I get into.

I apologize for the late response, but I'm still considering and reconsidering participating in KoG or not. I'm still not eligible for XGC for another two years, but I don't like being part of a clan, that to me, sounds like something you'd brag about, when I'm honestly against bragging about what I believe I'm good at. I want to be affiliated somehow, but I don't want to be playing with people, while my gamertag makes me look like," I'm full of myself," or have too," high self-esteem." I mostly wish to join to be able to play with people who I can communicate with both honestly, and at times, joking, but also be able to play with often, and not just be a recent player that's only played one game with you... I basically want to enjoy gaming with people who view, feel, and seek to play similarly, but I don't want to be affilitiated with something where I look like I believe I deserve as high of a rank of that... truth be told, I barely think of myself even being capable of being considered a," Lieutenant of gaming..." I don't believe so highly in myself, as I don't truly know how well I am compared to other gamers, which is why I seek something that's original and not too high of a role for me, but also doesn't make me look nor feel like a simple gamer...( I can continue, but I feel like I stopped making sense three sentences ago...)

Also, to quickly clarify a few things:
- I have mentioned what I mostly do above, but there are a few changes. I recently gave away my Gears of War 3 as I didn't see much purpose trying to," attack," all of the Onyx Medals, when it would take me months to gain the other 43. I mostly now play Halo: Reach( The multiplayer that comes with Halo: Anniversary, that is), gears of War 2( Which not only did I realize how much difference there is between it and its sequel, but did I also gain a huge headache playing my first game in 6 months), and sometimes Castle Crashers. I aim to raise money for college and future needs, but along the way will I possibly purchase Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron, halo 4, Assassin's Creed III, and whatever other games I can afford in my distributed budget and enjoy playing...
- I'm more interested in the Xiled Design clan, but I can't find the requirements( please explain them to me or point me within the right direction.) If I can't join it, then can someone assist me into getting into KoG? I've been a member of the clan before, but one of the members told me that if I left on vacation or any traveling trip, I'm immediately removed from the clan. I still dream about traveling, and lately have been completing my assignments to get closer to the colleges I wish to apply to, so I'm not exactly on every day anymore. I'm also not using my account until after my Summer trip, so I won't be online until next Fall. The only things I don't understand are the training sessions, which I never attended due to confusion. I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of training is for some gamers, but I could also enjoy learning more about what it is, and why you do it.
- is it possible to be part of a clan, but not change your name? I've preferred gamertags without numbers, irregular caps, or ,"incorrect grammar."( For example, I prefer gamertags like Slimmed Down, and some of the ones my friends have, like Lego Brat and if its ever taken, Akatsuki.) I don't mind names with dates that represent something behind them, but I don't really enjoy having a clan affiliated name if it would be like xTDBxInhumanXD...
* Sorry, I tend to write a lot...

I repeat myself: Thanks Ink, but I gave my friend my Gears of War 3 since a friend of his kept asking him to get it, and how I didn't see much point keeping it or making him buy one for the price of $60. I'm not making this up, but I'm not THAt crazy about games as I am about helping people out and supporting those in need.( Another one of my dreams)

If you're still interested in joining the Xiled Design Clan, PM me with the details and/or questions you desire to have answered and I can help out.

To answer some questions in your posts:
  • You will not be removed for inactivity (regarding a vacation), you just need to make sure the lines of communication with you and your leaders are kept open. People who go inactive without speaking to someone are generally those who are mistakenly removed from the clan. We're not mind readers here
  • Training - Well, it depends on what training you are talking about. We have official classes for certain ranks i.e. captains, generals... to help them gain and/or develop skills; and then other members choose to offer classes on other skills e.g. forum navigation. Then there is game training sessions which are held at the discretion of the clan General / Captains - varies between clans.
  • And no, it is not a requirement to change your name to include a clan acronym. Some people enjoy the unity/pride that they feel they gain from changing their name however it is not compulsary. I've had clan tags in the past however no longer wish to due to personal circumstances. It's okay.

I myself am a full time university student with a number of other commitments so I understand your concerns with games, finances etc. It is generally not a problem, as long as you play/party with your clan on xbox occassionally.
In fact in that respect I think XDC would be a good place for you as a number of us are more forum based than xbox based due to our circumstances; so like I said, send me a PM and we'll get the ball rolling.
