GAMING RUT ... SAVE ME FROM MYSELF !

my last 4 visits to my usual gaming haunts have resulted in me bringing home games that were so bad i dont even want to mention the titles through fear of embarassing myself. do u guys have any good ideas on games i should be buying right now. im a call of duty, halo, left for dead fan when i want to shoot. fallout when i want to roam with a bit of red dead thrown in for a change of landscape. love shooters, even enjoy a mindless bit of hack and slash like dynasty warriors when the mod strikes but lately ... i dunno. i seem to be in a bit of a gaming rut and clearly cant be trusted to make up my own mind on this ( i actually bought the ncis game ... please dont judge me) so consider this a plea for help to all gamers out there. any recommendations will be awarded with good karma and the satisfaction of knowing u helped keep my poor little xbox undefiled by the absolute crap ive been putting into it lately. thank u in advance for all suggestions from me AND my 360.

You really bought the NCIS game? Quick game for achievements from what I hear lol.

I don't know, I mean one game that I seem to enjoy is Borderlands if you haven't tried to play that series yet. Battlefield even if you feel like driving around vehicles and blowing things up all the time :p

Borderlands 2 - fps/rpg in my top 10 games
Tomb Raider - single player was an amazing experience
Splinter Cell Blacklist/Conviction - super fun being a top agent
NFS Most Wanted - simple arcade racer with incredible sense of speed
Rayman Origins/Legends - its a better version of super mario games
Batman Arkham anything - its batman nuff said
Dead Rising 2 - my current addiction, it was free last month to download

cant go wrong with these games, don't fill your whole gaming library with first person shooters. throw some variety in there.

Need for Speed: The Run was a wonderful addition to the NFS series haha. Literally had you on the edge of your seat sometimes trying to get through the races. x]
You can also try your hand at Portal and Portal 2 if you're into those mindbending, making-you-think games lol. Portal 2 had amazing co-op play.
Umm pretty much any other game I would have suggested has already been covered; I know the feeling when you just don't want to play a game because you're burned out on it or it's just not something you want to play for now.

then u should rephrase your words. i.e. "the game isn't for me" or "i personally don't like the game" instead of calling the game is terrible.

doesn't matter how I put it its my opinion I said the game is terrible, I'm sure he knows that's my opinion and he can take it how he wants now if I said the game was terrible dont waste ur money then you'd be right but seeing as how I didn't then I don't need to put it any other way

word of the wise: calling something bad that a majority of people like/praise makes people steer away from you and wont care for your other opinions as people think u have horrible taste, bad human being, etc. and then flamewars start.

I really don't care if people thing I have bad taste, I gave my opinion on a game I thought was bad. I'm sure I'm not the only one that didnt like it. I'm entitled to my opinion and if you don't like it then quit posting about what I say. cause you grilling me for my opinion is gonna make people think ur a douche for trying to tell me my opinion is wrong. I'm done with this whole conversation.

Well then you have ****ty taste if ur blatantly calling the game bad. I wouldnt be surprised if u call angry birds ur favorite game. Wanna fix dis post here 2 grammer nazi?

lots of good suggestions here. enjoying tombraider and borderlands 2. also got a blast from the past when someone loaned me kingdom of amalur: the reckoning. been hooked on it all week. so far seems to be everything fable should have been. kind of like skyrim and fable had a baby and made amalur. I've been eyeing the new far cry game but not sure I want to shell out the money for it. is it worth it now or should I wait for the price drop ?

I got dead rising 2 on the free download but i'll be honest, i'm a wuss when it comes to zombie games so like the ones that have co op. am noticing that in dead rising 2 you cant choose who u want to play with. you just have to choose co op and hope u end up with someone helpful and umm... cooperative.

I hear lots of good things about far cry 3 but seems to be a love it or hate it title. some say its awesome some say don't bother. im curious enough to give it a try but think i'll wait for a price drop, just incase.
