Hey I am updating this post with some more tips as I have gotten more familar with the game.
1st tip.... What it does = A bit of exp threw field engineer achieving 1000 fortifications and
getting you the onyx medal and quick way of getting
"Infinite Ammo" mutator by
getting you 100 Field Engineer ribbons.....
step 1. Start a private horde then pick a small map (thrashball)
step 2.
(HARDEST WAY) if you are doing this solo... do a
round threw so you have enough to buy a turret, get on, shoot, get off, repair x5
*REPEAT 5 TIMES*, Die, Restart from the beginning.
(MEDIUM WAY) if you are doing this with two
controllers...give all your money from your "guest" to your "main", then buy
command post and then a turret, then get on the turret with your "guest" and fire
away while your "main" repeatedly taps "Y"(Repair), Die, Restart from the beginning.
(EASY WAY) if you found a friend to help you....have
him give you all his money, buy a command post, buy a turret, have him get on it and
fire way, you repeatedly tap "Y" (Repair), Die, Restart from the beginning
2nd tip... This is the easiest way of getting your
"Super Reload" mutator.
Step 1. Start a private versus map, choose king of the hill, configure the settings to have the
longest game play, for instance set to max rounds, max time. The "bots" will keep
heading to the hill (this makes them easy to find) and kill them with your 5 basic
guns. These being your Lancer, Hammerburst, Retro Lancer, Gnasher Shotgun, and
Saw-off shotgun. You have to achieve 100 kills with each gun to gain your mutator.
But this one is well worth it as it helps tremendously in campaign and horde.
3rd Tip .... This is to unlock the "Superstar Cole" character.
Step 1. Start a private versus match, I recommend warzone, and configure option to
full(otherwise it won't work). you have to win every match up to 75 matches I
believe(I know a ton but it's good practice for your techniques if your not so great at
versus modes). This will unlock your character flashy stunna character.
4th Tip....This is to beat last boss act on insane....
Step 1. Have a friend start it up on a casual or hardcore difficulty, then join it(having a
insane game being your last*This is what sets the current difficulty your profile is
on*) ie; you last played a hardcore your next is going to be set to hardcore, you
played an insane, the next you play is going to be insane(This is only when joining,
not when hosting your own game*you can choose the difficulty then).
Step 2. Ok so since you have had your friend make the game, join it and you should be set
to insane diffuculty, you will die easy as usual, but the host(your friend) is on a
easier difficulty and can move around the map easier getting hammer ammo easier
and knocking off relentless theron guards easier.
Extra Step... get 2 more people and have your hosting friend make it in arcade mode as this
will be the hardest mission in 4 player arcade, and you will kill 3 birds with one
stone....and if you don't know how to kill her, you have to shoot her mouth til she
falls, then the hammer is given to you, then get some lancer ammo and then
hammer her, do this until re-enforcements come, then run and stock up on all the
ammo you can and run to the elevator notch, crotch to the back side, here you will
run from side to side dodging the queen's sunbeam and having little annoyance
from the guards.
These are all of the tips I can think of for now, I will post more as I think of them, hope these help
