Who else loves GoW? I've been playing sense the first one years back with my older brother and friends, I love the 3rd person over the shoulder view and MP game play just make it really fun. Any other GoW lovers out there?

I hope it's more like the first one. I played competitive with Gears 1. Gears 2 disappointed me so bad that I couldn't stand playing it. They watered everything down to appeal to the masses... just like always.

Ya I've been following the boards with GoW 3, hopefully April will be the launch date, but as long as it's a good game...I can wait. I agree with DirtyBird that they did dull down the experience just like in many other gamers, most notable WoW during the second expansion. On the same thread, what is your favorite weapon to use in GoW, and why?

I love Gears of War and i love playing horde in the second one. I can't wait for the 3rd one to come out and hopefully this new Carmine doesn't die.
