ACHIEVEMENT GUIDE

Achievement Guide

Bidder Beginner - 10 points
Win a total of 10 games. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

I suggest using the Spades Veteran method and competing offline. Once you get used to the game as I get more into detail below, you will find it easy to come by wins in this game.

Jack of Spades - 20 points
Win 10 consecutive games. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

I suggest single player method described in Spades Veteran. Get a few games to get some practice in and you should get it in.

Light Packer - 10 points
Complete a game without taking any bags. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

A "bag" is when you or you and your partner bid the exact amount of hands you are going to take and succesfully collect that EXACT amount, not going over or under! Probably the first achievement you will obtain!

To the Moon - 20 points
Take all the point cards in a hand. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

This achievement seperates the men from the boys. Shooting the moon is the most difficult thing to do in Spades. It is when you collect every hand (13) in one game. (Twice for the next one!). It is almost impossible to achieve this when you are not with partners. I suggest going out into the xbox live world and picking up 3 other loyal companions for you all to compete for this. Using your partner to manipulate the hands is quite convenient!

Online Trickster - 10 points
Complete 10 games in Xbox Live play.

Go into quick match under the multiplayer option on the main menu and complete 10 games. Dosnt matter wether ranked or unranked.

Blind Bidder Extraordinaire - 10 points
Complete 5 blind nils. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

Alright the achievements start to get tough. Blind nils are options that you as the user can set but can only activate when down by 300 points (or so). It is automatically given to you as an option by the computer. Just click yes every time for if you are good at this game the blind nil option is hard to come by. If you are playing with a partner give him 2 of your higher cards (preferably your 2 highest spades) and try not to pick any more cards (at all!) up.

Nil Annihilator - 20 points
Complete 100 nils. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

A nil is always an option for the beggining of a hand. If you have low cards and definetly no high spades, this is a definite option because getting a hundred is time-tasking. Just dont pick up any hands!

Spades Prankster - 10 points
Take a total of 500 tricks. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

One of the more simpler achievements. Don't worry it may seem like a big number but after getting the hang of the game it comes by quite easily.

To the Moon and Back - 40 points
Complete two moon shots in a single game. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

The most difficult achievement in the game! Set the point minimum to about 500 and shoot the moon twice.... patience is a big key here!

King of Spades - 10 points
Win a total of 25 games. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

Again I suggest using the Spades Veteran method and competing offline. Once you get used to the game as I get more into detail below, you will find it easy to come by wins in this game.

Ace of Spades - 30 points
Win 25 consecutive games. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

I suggest placing the point value up a little maybe to 300 after getting jack of hearts because then there is room for error. Again use the method in Spades veteran.

Spades Veteran - 10 points
Play a total of 100 games. Earn this in Single Player or Xbox Live play.

Go to an offline game and set it to 4 players. Put all settings off and set the "Points to win" option at the bottom of the screen to 100.
