HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS

I've actually known JT for like 10 years *although we haven't talked in probably 5*. He used to live around Belpre, Ohio and our old bands would play shows all over the place together. Sadly though, I don't really care for their music whatsoever. If you want to check out a good band JT played guitar in, then check out Eyes Upon Separation(RIP).

Casey Calvert was the screamer... and Hawthorne Heights did not split up because of that... they are brave and still continued as a band... which most bands these days wouldnt do at all.

Yeah, I just can't get into that type of music at all. If ya get a sec find some stuff from his earlier band. It's about 2394857 times heavier.

Without the Screaming... kinda... i mean they had to literally learn how to be a band again... so you can see that. its still a awesome album

i saw them live at warped tour. I don't want to be disrespectful to them since their tragedy, but they sucked live. I had heard some of their stuff before i went to see them, so i was on the fence on whether i liked them or not. Their live performance turned me away from them completely. they played the songs exactly the way they sounded on CD, but that was it. when i see a band live, i expect them to act live and enjoy themselves. going to see hawthorne live at warped tour was the exact same thing as surronding yourself with a few hundred sweating people on a hot july day when 1/4 of them weren't wearing deodorant and holding a cd player next to your head on full blast... they just didn't know how to have fun and enjoy the crowd

two years ago they used to be great live i dont know what happened...blame it on the death of their screamer...i remember he used to get the crowd hyped he would swing the mic all around the stage while holding on to the cord...dude was so into the performances

i saw them just a little over two years ago... that was with the original band at a warped tour... they were just completely unenergetic... all of them. unless they were just hungover or hated pittsburgh (maybe they r browns fans?!?) but they were terrible here live

i saw them at Nintendo Fusion Tour '06 in Chicago... Maybe it was just the Indoors part... But Plain White T's were GREAT live, and so was Relient K. hmmm i guess... oh well
