HEADSHOTS: SPARTAINS VS. ELITES

I think they fixed the headshot box around the players. Well what I am saying is I think they made it smaller. You actually have to hit the face now. And if that is the case, are the Elites heads bigger? So there is a larger box around them.

i've watched it (cause im always an elite) i die just as quick as the spartans, no sooner or later.

meaning, it takes the same amount of time to kill both.

I never thought there was a time difference. I thought the box around the Elites heads were bigger because their heads are bigger. I thought it was easier to get a headshot on an Elite than a Spartan.

Think of it like this:

The Elites are easier to shoot in the head from the sides, where as Spartans are easier to hit in the head from behind. They both have the same amount of hit-boxes, it's just that they're in different places.

Bungie fixed the hitboxes for Elites in Halo 3. I'm glad they did because I love wearing full Astetic (or however it's spelled) when I get tired of the Katana. So yeah, it's already been said but the Elite is easier to shoot in the head from the side while the Spartan is easier from the back; the hitboxes are the same just arranged differently.

I'm an elite player and yes they did reduce the range you can recieve a headshot on an elite. It's now the same as a Spartan. The only problem between the two is that sadly the spartan lunging range for weapon melees and sword lunges are farther than elites still. I think bungie hates elites. That's my opinion.

The misconception is this. The Elite's heads are lower on the body than the Spartans. Therefore, most people tend to correct for this difference, not knowing that in all reality it is relatively the same (In proportion to their body style). I believe that is where the issue is. For those who don't understand what I mean. It's as simple as this... [You have to know where the head (box) is in order to shoot it correct?] lol :p

No, actually the heads are different in size like you stated, but the shootable area around each head is the same... So neither has an advantage.

I find it much harder to kill an elite in SWAT especially from behind but changing to an Elite to play does nothing but make me worse its a confusing one.
