I am technically not a new "member" (just a guest right now), so I am hoping this is the proper place to intro myself.
I am a longtime gamer (32 yo, been gaming for 27!) on all platforms, and in pretty much all interest areas. I have put significant time into RTS, FPS, CO-OP, PvP, MOBA, MMO, etc, etc... the list goes on. I play mostly on the ONE and PC, and am looking for a mature group of people that play a wide variety of games, and can be both casual and competititive (have a strategy, but have some real fun with it type of thing, no world championship pro gamer things here).
I came across this site recently, and some stuff looks right up my alley. I can't say that I completely understand the squad format going on (don't seem split by game, so not sure how it works!!), but the overall feel of the forum posts seems pretty awesome. I couldn't agree more with the honor code laid out for this group, and think it could be a good fit. I came across XCG specifically when looking for a Halo MCC group, but as I stated above, I am not married to any one game and can (and will want to) jump around to different games and genres (been playing some Dying Light, Evolve, and even some strategy stuff on PC lately).
SO long story short, if this is the proper place, I am asking for an opportunity to game with some of you!
