XGC Keichskay
New member
I joined XGC because of family and later developed almost every friendship I have today. The ironic part about that is I ended up leaving my family. XGC was and is a second family for any member of XGC.
During my time as a captain in XGC Apocalypse the captains were notified that a general position was opening so we needed to show initiative to be great candidates. There were complaints that I would speak over people at the meeting to keep it on schedule. So I was viewed as to aggressive, which looking back it's completely justified. Part of being a captain is to continue to learn from your generals and section leaders. At the time I just couldn't see that they were trying to help better me. Anyways in the end I left because I had some personal problems in my life that were causing me to question my choices in everything from gaming to what I ate. Upon valuable input from many friends and XGC members I was able to come to terms with those feelings and fixed them. This caused me to realize that not only is XGC successful at what it is (a community) but it is also more than that. Everyone has their own meaning to XGC and we all have our own "war stories" both good and bad.
Below will be a brief ranking summary of my time in XGC:
XGC Roughnecks:
Section Leader: XGC KiLo XS
General: XGC Smo0th
Captain: XGC Whilliks
MY RANK: Recruit-Captain
XGC Apocalypse:
Section Leader XGC KiLo XS
General: XGC Octula
MY RANK: Captain
I'd like to come back to XGC to develop new friendships and to help continue to expand the community in any way possible. I'd be willing to go anywhere I'd be welcome and I can help out in many ways. Even if I don't end up back in XGC my ties will never be forgotten so thank you for taking the time to read this and hear my story and please don't EVER make the mistake I did. You should NEVER turn your back on family.
