Practice.
Find a few friends and play on Rust

Use The Intervention or 50 Cal.
Slight of Hand Pro
Stopping power
Steady Aim Pro or Ninja.

I play at a higher sensitivity but its up to preference.

Practice in a custom. Also the perks described in the above post are pretty accurate. The intervention has a faster ADS (to get in scope) than the 50 cal also.

The best way to get better at quick scoping is very simple. You put a sticker on your television where the reticle aims too when you scope in, then use it like you mean it. Clutch the L button and fire away!

Ask your clan general to set up some fun games of no scope or quick scopes... Everyone is usually willing to play and its basically practice in a pressure free environment.

How does the sticker help improve quick scoping? Just putting a sticker on your tv will do that? Surely there is a principle or guidelines perhaps, that will help.

the thought process behind the sticker on your tv is the sticker shows where you aim.
and if the sticker covers up the cat you are trying to kill, pull the trigger.
you tap LT and when the sticker is in the right place, fire..
its easier to notice than the lines from your scope because it stands out more.

but again, just practice... learn when to quick tap the LT and fire.. thats all it takes

I dont ever use the Sniper. I just thought that if someone else was reading and does could use a better explanation. I use the Scar or M4 w/ a silencer and akimbo rangers. THe only time i like snipers are when they are in my iron sites. lol.

this may be an old thread but I use this thing called a KillDot, same as the sticker but it wont damage the tv, it is great for akimbo since there are no scopes, it is a window cling that is shaped like a crosshair, very handy to use until u r good enough to go with out it

If you want my pointers... Quickscope with SoH Stopping and anything Third Perk cept Last Stand or Steady Aim. Because....Last stand is useless and Steady Aim does help introduce quickscoping but Ninja to me helps alot more. its hard in the beginning but its better....and a quick tip to quickscoping is linning up the sights before you shoot (obviously). Black ops is ghey I dragg/no scope alot :/

Practice makes perfect.
My perks i use is Marathon Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and Ninja Pro. Using marathon allows you to make split-second alignments while your scoping in.

ahh I hate marathon because you have to make those split seconds 100% of the time. even the tinyest adjustment can mean its a hitmarker or not.
If anyone wants to practice quickscoping add me on xbox live: SYN Snowfallx
(just message me here that you added me on xbox just for quickscoping)
I broke my disc but when i get mw2 again ima just play 24/7 man.
you may say im good at quickscoping it just all depends on practice.
For beginners who just started quickscoping
SoH Pro
Stopping Pro
Steady Aim Pro
Tip: my eyes are always making small "invisible" alignments on the crosshairs. so if your quickscoping with your friends make those last adjustments when you see the enemy. after your confident in striking your enemy try different distances. and if your confident with that "black scope" dont even see if the enemy is dead on. beacause when you can see where the sights alignment are going to hit when you squeeze the LT. Steady aim is very good for point and shoot so its very useful for learning how to align the sights before shooting.
I recommend using ninja pro after your confident with using steady aim with ninja it may seem longer to shoot and its a bit harder. itsbecause the split second delay. thats a very good advantage because in quickscoping you spot the enemy and quickly squeeze LT you can estimate the tiny distance of how your going to miss so you can move your shot a bit.
With Marathon this is a different story you have to put your alignments ahead of the enemy if hes running and when your scoped in you have to estimate your shot again. its just difficult for me.

But i love quickscoping and my friend love trickshotting so if your up add me man cause i can go quickscoping all day.
