HURRICANE IRENE

i was just wondring if anyone here is going threw the hurricane im from ct n live near the water in a couple of hours were going tru hell they say up to 107 mph winds n up to 9 inches of rain every hour were i live they say were gettin a drecked hit it could be a cat 1 or 2 storm n if power gos out i wont be on for up to 5 days

I am also located in CT, more central though. We're preparing for the worst and hoping for the best but all we can do is hunker down and hope things go well.

im in NC i got hit and all is OK i guess 190,000 + in damages my house but yeah!!!!!!!!

my other house where im staying (thank god) is more inland sanford nc so i got wind maybe 100-200 $ damage like shingles and landscaping stuff nothing bad!!!!

i have no malch and no rocks nor any my stuff i bought in my yard but they are palled up nicly in neighbors yard 2 blocks down no joke!

I live in Virginia we didn't get hit bad just a lot of wind and rain and some flooding but to all of those affected by this pray for you

just got power back today at 3:04 pm we lost power for 4 days now were i live we got trashed my street had a couple of trees down we had a tree down n sticks every were in our yard, the beach is totaly destroyed houses gone sink holes we had a bordwalk now some what destroyed sand everyware we have a island were we can walk to all diffrent now. so many trees down were i live it was a cat 1 when it hit. just today we hade to trow out all the food nasty. atleast i can have a clean hot shower now

I'm from Jersey. My town didn't get hit to bad, but a few towns near us did. We did lose power for about 3 days, but no major damage done. New Milford (A town near mine) was pretty messed up, though.

i live in brooklyn ny and we didnt get hit that bad thank god it downgraded, great thing not too many people got hurt

Im in sanford, NC. We got hit bad on the outer banks, but inland not really just winds and rain!

I live in Florida and we were expecting Irene to hit but it just missed us when it came by. Thankfully we were lucky

i think everyone was very lucky cause this storm could have been alot worse

Yeah, alot of people up north were affected, but it was not nearly as bad as it could of been.

But seriously I do think we are all lucky on the east coast it could have been alot worse!
