Not an "official answer" but I will answer using what I have learned during my time here.
Xiled Gaming does not affiliate with other clans or communities, for there really is no reason to.
Forums were made available to other communities previously but we still maintained our distance, they were more or less a means of communication for members who had left to said community and wanted to speak with members here.
The main reason for not allowing other clans in is the issue of poaching or conflict between members. The honor code here is often quite different to other communities (excluding those that have copied the XG formula) and so different values = arguments etc.
If you friend is truly interested he can bring over his clan into a pre-existing Xiled Gaming one. They will have to abide by our rules and ranks though.
