Modern Warfare 3 sucks, and I'd rather spend my time playing Black Ops. I've played the ever living crap out of this game over the last 12 hours, and I can't say I like it at all. Between the terrible lag, the lack of COVER pretty much anywhere, and my sudden inability to play CoD worth a damn, I seriously have no desire to play it, and seriously am considering trading it in for Forza4.

Lag, yes. For some reason, there are periods where im lagging at 1 bar and there is no host change. Cover might just be a lack of knowledge around the maps. I really don't know what im doing some of the times because I have no idea of the map structure so I normally run around shooting like a chicken with my head cut off.

To be honest, you should give it some time. At first when I bought Black Ops, I thought it was absolute poo poo but then, I started to play it a little more and got used to it and then enjoyed playing it. Hopefully it should be the same with MW3. Either way good luck with whatever you do.

A friend of mine put it perfectly. It isn't MW3. It is MW2.1. Meaning, it is nothing more than MW2, with some new maps, perks, and gun attachments. Graphics are about the same, and mostly everything that was wrong with MW2 is wrong with MW3. Now, MW2 was a good game, and so is MW3. It just doesn't live up to the hype everyone gave it. But then again, what ever does?

dude if your having problems with the maps like figuring them out try looking online there is quite a few places where you can get like structure plans of the maps. but along with that i do really like mw3 and battle field is another good one when they get their servers fixed.

i think MW3 is a title bit more technical of a game, the map structures are far superior to Black Ops. It more of a real life setting so maybe thats where your getting stuck. Learn the maps, find a position you like and go to town. Also equip quickdraw, will save your life

Nah, quickdraw isn't really worth it. Between Heartbeat sensors, a plethora of UAV's, and the bright red name tags that show up when someone looks at you, you're better off going with Assassin Pro. Most people don't realize how much of an advantage someone has on you if they know where you are.

you got to adapt, improvise and overcome! i hate when my dad tells me that all the time. but its true though. i dont think it sucks and i do agree on some of the complaints but thats just a challenge you got to overcome

I hate the lag and lack of cover too, I also hate how bullets cant go through ANYTHING for me. Like in MW2 theres FMJ, in this nothin. Only play with freinds, nothin else.
