IMOVIE VS. MOVIEMAKER

Mac programs (when on a Mac) tend to have a faster rendering speed making it easier to pump out videos efficiently.
Windows programs - such as movie maker - tend to have a greater flexibility and are often easier to work with.

Sony Vegas is another great editing software that is almost an advanced combination of the above.

Ultimately the quality comes down to the content used and the user.

The workability and output of the iMovie makes it superior to everything except programs as high caliber as sony vegas pro, adobe, etc etc def. better then final cut pro

Final cut is 1000times better if you know how to use it..

Imovie vs final cut is like Pre-K against High school there is no question FC is better if you want to do real videos/edits .

final cut pro was always to choppy with its scene appropriation and what not.. it was annoying to me.

I agree it has choppy issues im not saying it doesnt...

I run all my videos thru Imovie for frame rate and stuff ... then i do all the edits in FC thats what i found to work best...

Yes i have both lol
