“Infamous”
Is there anything electrifying about super hero games these days? Personally I thought it was dying out until Infamous showed up. The Spider-man Series has nothing on Cole baby! This open-world do what you wish genre is exciting in many ways. From the side mission, which often remind me of GTA small quests, which always seem to be intriguing in many ways, whether it is saving an innocent who is a hostage to delivering an army of enemies that are under arrest. The decision you make on each mission depict the flow of the game and how everyone “judges” you. Choose whether you wish to be evil or good. But nobody had to say that you could just run through the game finishing every mission running insane using the megawatt to destroy everything in your path and not enjoy the vast open world of entertainment! Empire City is huge. Go have with it. Glide through the air or electric grind the rail tracks. Don’t be a stickler and rush through for trophies.
DK Loved:
Open-World: Simply put this vast world that has no limits is extremely entertaining. Anyone is foolish to think this game is terrible.
Gameplay: Everything is simple and not complex. Who’s ever heard of head shots with lightning strikes? I believe this is my first game that’s introduced me to mother natures elements that produces head shots that save your life under fire from a turret. Nothing to say is least what I expected from an awesome game. Every minute is enjoyable. If you let it drag on by completing each mission quickly, then you will have no enjoyment. This is a slow and relaxed but fast paced game with enjoyable game play.
DK Hated
Unbalanced: The main character and enemies are unbalanced. Enemies with RPG have overkill and over run you at times. You have no control over how much damage and power your attack really is, just upgrades that only effect your health regeneration. Enemies shoot weapons with reloading. The have an unlimited rate of fire and you’re only limited to using your special abilities with as much capacity is given, which isn’t much.
Repetitiveness: With each island, comes the same amount of missions that are exactly alike in every way. Can anyone say Assassin Creed!?!?!
Conclusion. This game is a definite buy for you Sony PS3 owners. If you take your time and don’t rush through it, then its well worth the money. Time is NOT of the essence and with this game you want nothing but free time to explore and enjoy the vast open world that involves lightning of all things.
DK gives 9/10
