It has been some time since I have left XGC, and if i had to estimate how long it has been I would probably say about 7 years or so. I had obtained the rank of General within the community, and was quite productive at such a position back in the halo 2 days (when clans could be kept nice and formatted!) I started in Xplicit and was later assigned to 1st strike as a general (both of these teams are no longer around). I was under XGC Allstar at the time, he was the section leader I do believe. Until long a friend of mine Coolatta had been promoted to Section Leader and I was then under him instead of Allstar. Before I ramble on, I did help start other clans such as XGC Allstars and XGC Retribution ( I think that was the name). But anyway, I knew everyone amongst my section, and really did not get to venture out of my section parameters to meet other XGC community members (a mistake on my part surely) So one day Coolatta, along with many other members under his section left the community and I followed suit. I did not leave on bad terms, did not destroy or tamper with future XGC recruiting policies and such. It was really just me leaving to join my closest xbox friends at the time.
That is really all there is to me leaving, and it surely was not out of animosity or anything like such. Fast forward to about 3 days ago I was in matchmaking with a member of Xiled Gaming XGC ABSTRACT in Titanfall. His name brought back memories of a past I truly do miss. I befriended him and started talking to him about the clan and how the community used to operate and how good it was to have a place of belonging. I told him about the meetings i used to sit through (on both sides of the spectrum of being the quiet listener, to being the leader speaking of Community news) Naturally it rekindled my interest in belonging to a clan. The next day we talked some more and I was able to speak to XGC IRAQVET about potentially rejoining and current clan procedures.
Just today he told me I would have to post here in this forum. So here I am posting. I mean, depending on how strict the policy may be, I do understand if my request to join is denied. I can only imagine how many times you (leaders in Xiled Gaming) have wasted their time on bring someone back into the community that did not pan out as expected. But I do leave you with this to consider; I am 7 years or so wiser and more mature than I previous was, am not disruptive or disrespectful in anyway, and bring forth optimism and leadership to the community. Plus I have all the means of being an active member in the community, if not by playing online everyday than certainly by keeping up with forums on this site and such
I appreciate the time,
Jgabs
