Mav: How long have you been in Xiled Gaming?
Actuashley: I've been in Xiled Gaming for a little over a year now.
Mav: Is this the first gaming community you've been in?
Actuashley: Nope.
Mav: If not, what other communities have you been in?
Actuashley: I had a brief, and I mean brief stay in PMS, but the heightened level of estrogen started to give me a headache and I practically left the clan before I joined.
Mav: Who recruited you?
Actuashley: I was recruited by XGC Deadeyez, who was then a co-general of XGC Vicarious.
Mav: Have you brought any other friends to the community?
Actuashley: Not any personal friends I know from home, but I did bring in a few gamers I had met online to the community.
Mav: What is your favorite thing about Xiled Gaming?
Actuashley: The people. I no doubt have met some people I'm positive I will be friends with many years from now, and I think that's pretty darn neat.
Mav: What are your favorite games?
Actuashley: My favorite game is Call of Duty 4. Other than that I enjoy Halo 2 and Halo 3. The arcade games aren't bad either.
Mav: (Contextual question) What are your favorite weapons to use in that game?
Actuashley: In Call of Duty, I love using the M16, red dot or silenced, stopping power and/or deep impact. This all depends on what prestige I'm on though. I use the other weapons, but when all else fails, the M16 is my ultimate weapon of choice.
Mav: Do you have any aspirations to go into leadership?
Actuashley: Absolutely. I think the day I was recruited into XGC Vicarious I wanted to eventually hold a leadership role, and did everything to get to where I am now. I just hope that my actions will show much more than my words ever could as to my intentions of ranking up in this community.
Mav: Outside of Xiled Gaming, what do you do? Such as where you work, go to school, etc.
Actuashley: I am a junior attending the University of Oklahoma, and am majoring in pre-dental hygiene, and hopefully will have my Bachelor's of Science in 2010, and be a Registered Dental Hygienist. I work on campus, in Housing and Food Services, as an office assistant. Other than that, I have no routine to my life. I enjoy living spontaneously. I love going to concerts, and writing prose and formal poetry. I'm hoping that in the next few years to be published also. So be on the lookout. -lol-
Mav: How long have you been a gamer?
Actuashley: I've been a gamer my entire life. I fondly remember playing Zelda and old atari games on a regular basis with my dad. It was fun. After the super NES though, I never really played a console until I had graduated highschool. My at-the-time boyfriend decided to bring his xbox to my house and proceed to leave it there for 2 weeks unattended. -lol- So, it was he who got me hooked. You can blame him later. His gamer tag is LOLURDED. Ha.
Mav: Is there any specific meaning behind your gamertag?
Actuashley: Kind of. I had a friend back in the day whose myspace name was "toddlyenough" and I thought it was neat play on his name, Todd. So I was trying to think of a new myspace name, right around the time they started letting people choose their URLs. I thought actuashley was fitting, because I have distinct memories of sitting in class, and thinking people were talking to me, when they were just saying the word "actually."
Mav: How do you feel about the Xiled Gaming website?
Actuashley: I appreciate all the had work and dedication that has went into making it neater, faster, and more user-friendly. I like the addition of the new chat feature as opposed to the old lagtastic shoutbox that would make my browser throw a tantrum.
Mav: Who do you credit most for who you are today in the community?
Actuashley: Hands down I would have to say XGC Hawkeye XS. He was really the first person to believe in me, and worked really hard with me to get me to where I am today.
Mav: What is something few people know about you?
Actuashley: That I jam skate. I have roller skated my entire life, and was offered to be on a skate team in 2006. Because I was in my first year at OU, I decided not to peruse it, but it is definately something I extremely enjoy. I can do all sorts of tricks too, like 180s, 360s, and the splits. I dunno, I think its kind of neat.
Mav: What is your favorite food?
Actuashley: I'm big on Oriental cooking. So, definitely sushi or anything with rice and seafood. [salivates]
Mav: Have you ever been involved in a hula dance?
Actuashley: Actually, I have. Which is kind of weird because until this moment, I had completely forgotten. In 9th grade we had a "Luau" dance, and we all wore leis and did a hula.
Mav: What is your favorite book or movie?
Actuashley: Hmm... My favorite book would have to be 1984 by George Orwell, and if you haven't read it, you really must. It's amazing. My favorite movie is Schindler's List. I adore black and white films and am a huge history buff, and I'm a girl, so I love movies that tug at my heart strings and make me cry. -lol-
Mav: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Actuashley: The craziest thing I have ever done? Hmm... Probably when I attempted to jump over a backyard grill when I was 7. It was on too, so I coincidently got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my forearms. Fun times pretending to be a superhero.
Mav: Has anyone ever "tested your gangster"?
Actuashley: I wouldn't know. Are you testing it right now?
Mav: Who is someone you really admire in the community?
Actuashley: He probably wouldn't believe me, and probably won't even read this, but XGC Pitbull XD. He has to be one of the nicest, most down-to-earth, honest person I've ever met. Plus, he makes for a great sandwich.
Mav: Whats a weird dream you have had?
Actuashley: When I was 5, I remember falling asleep in the den after my dad went to bed. We were awake playing Zelda as a matter of fact. Anyway, I fell asleep and "woke up" in a field of literally nothing. There was only one flower, and my friends were standing around it, dancing. Everything was in black and white too, which I find intriguing. They were singing a song, but the words were coming out backwards, which was kinda creepy. Then, a huge Zeppelin came into view, blocking out the sun and I looked back to see the flower had wilted and all my friends had run off. Then I woke up in my neighbors yard soaking wet because it was raining and went back inside my house. So, I had a extremely weird dream and was sleepwalking. Good times.
Mav: What would be a cool superpower to have?
Actuashley: I already have superpowers. I bought them on clearance at Wal-Mart.
Mav: Would you ever get a mohawk?
Actuashley: That all depends. Do I get paid? -lol-
