hmm this is a toughie. Id have to say some clipping masks though. maybe some c4ds and fractals.

I agree with filly. Try out some clipping masks and different C4Ds/Fractals and see what you get. Play with the effects with the C4Ds though. Also maybe some smudging? I would say just play around with it until you see something that works.

To bright imo. Could use a bit of work with depth. Maybe some fx c4ds with some blurring/sharpening. On the brightness issue id go with some gmaps
