Clever: HE CALLED THE POLICE

A burglar broke into a house, intending to steal from it. While still in the house, he called the police. Why?

Clue:
Q:did he call a co-conspirator on the police force?
A:No

Q:Before breaking in did he intended on calling the police?
A:No

Q:Was he arrested?
A:Yes
