M.W.2 VS BLK OPS?

they both have their pros and cons... i liked BO better tho. i felt like mw2 gave you too many options, but most of the options were unnecessary... a lot of options can be good, if the options you choose all can have a distinct impact on the outcome of the game... shadowrun is a fps that has a ton of options, and is one of the harder fps shooters to learn and get good at, but it is incredibly fun because every decision you make can help or hurt the team and the chances of winning the game

I like Black Ops a little bit better because you can actually counter the noob tubers. However, it's a lot slower than MW2 due to all the Ghost campers and the lag is so much worse. It's kind of a toss up.

I think mw2 was better all the way around. Black ops feels like they cheaped out. The maps are knock offs of other call of duty designs weapon power is constantly changing the sniping is no where near realistic. Black ops has alot more problems then mw2 ever had.

After hearing some pretty poor reviews from friends who purchased BO I never bothered trying it and wouldn't think to spend money on a game that many of my friends won't be playing. Guess I should have probably given it a fair share by renting it, but with MW3 due out later this year, it's probably best if I continue playing MW2 to keep my skill up. Hard to get enough playing time when you have a 3mo old to take care of.

Sniping in Black Ops isn't realistic as opposed to those realistic quick-scopes and heart-beat sensors, right? Let me tell you about something called bullet-drop, that's when gravity gradually pulls the bullet down, and the variables caused by the wind when actually sniping. Neither game is realistic and to imply one is moreso than the other is asenine.

The reason weapon power changes is because that's Treyarch responding to the community when they say something is over-powered (AK-74u), that's called balancing. Remember the UMP in MW2 that was never tweaked? Just sayin'.

And about the whole 'maps are knock-offs' thing, yeah, MW2 has maps ripped straight from CoD4. For emphasis I'll say it again, they're exact replicas. Familiarity really shouldn't bother you after that.

Valid arguments, please.

And to the original post, MW3 is the exact same. Linear levels, predictable Micheal Bay esque set pieces, and even the same engine as MW2 all thrown in there. Have fun with those destructible enviornments, though. Oh wait...

Modern Warfare 2 any day. Black Ops just seemed like they didn't perfect it enough. Not to mention that the graphics look like they took a step back to pre-World At War. And MW2 has a faster paced gameplay with enough weapon/perk combinations to fit any play style.
