MARCH MADDNESS 2K12

I saw that this tournament was on ESPN College Hoops game instead of the ESPN Tournament Challenge game. At first I couldn't figure out the difference in the two games. College Hoops brackets you're hoping for upsets. The scoring was listed as this:

In terms of base points, teams seeded 1-4 are worth one point, 5-8 seeds two points, 9-12 seeds three points and 13-16 seeds four points. In order to determine the number of points a correct selection is worth, you'll take the team's base value (which never changes throughout the tourney) and factor in the round multiplier, as listed below:

Round 2: winning team receives its base point value only
Round 3: winning team receives its base point value multiplied by two
Round 4: winning team receives its base point value multiplied by three
Round 5: winning team receives its base point value multiplied by four
Round 6: winning team receives its base point value multiplied by five
Round 7: winning team receives its base point value multiplied by six

Very cool.... Never played a bracket like this..... I joined.

I also have a post in SYN Homicidal forums about a March Madness Tournament. Check out the post:

Scoring is a little different on Tournament Challenge. For each game you get right, you earn points. The point value for a correct pick (regardless of seed) increases with each round of the tournament, culminating with the championship game on April 2. Its something like first round correct picks gets you 1 point a piece. During the second round, each pick is like 8 points a piece ect.
If there are 30 people who sign up on the SYN HOMICIDAL group, I will personally PAYOUT a $25 GameStop to the top scorer (winner). Each gamer can only submit 2 brackets to be eligible to the prize.

Everyone is welcome!!!!
