At this point, so many people have called for and/or predicted a price-cut for the PlayStation 3, it almost seems like a foregone conclusion. Let's see...there was Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg, Wedbush Morgan Securities video game analyst Michael Pachter, Electronic Arts CFO Eric Brown, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick, just about half of our commenters, and some lady I met at a party last week. We can now add Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans to the list. Evans company created LittleBigPlanet, so when he talks PS3, you should listen. Here's what Evans recently told Gamasutra:

"They've had all these, you know, SingStars and the EyeToy games. They've had their casual gaming audience on the PS2, and they have to translate that over to PS3 now," Evans told Gamasutra. "As they do that, I'll be very happy with that, because that's how I see PS3 growing. That's why I'm kind of comfortable with it for now... As soon as they drop their price, ho ho ho."
