Hi, I am new to your gaming community but not new to gaming, I have been playing video games for the better part of the last two decades, my favorite being first person shooter games along the call of duty genre. I understand everyone has there own style of playing, I personally prefer more of the ambushing, and sniping style of play, which i must admit the latest installment of call of duty really doesn't have a map to accomodate this very well. Because of the the style of play i prefer I have often been called a camper, which i fell is a unjust and derogatory term. For one even though it is a video game its based on War and tactics, I myself actually am a veteran who served in the Army during the Desert Storm campaign, and went through basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC and one of the first things they teach you in the military is to practice common sense and keep your head down. Which out of force of habit I still practice in video games, Even though it's just a video game, I have actually had quite a few people become incredibly irate because they keep going back to the spot i killed them, and i usually get them again so then i am called a camper. The main reason for this is, because i may stay at on place awhile to get a shot on someone, after i make a kill i usually move to a different spot and set up for another kill, which to me really isn't camping because I am moving just not running around the map like a chicken with my head cut off. Playing like this usually nets me low death score and finish the game ranked in the top 3 unless i am playing on very small map. I was curious if anyone else felt the way I do, or am i just a camper lol?
