what sport is this, because if it's not american football or nascar 98% of americans don't care... some still get into baseball, but it seems to me that the majority of baseball fans are in the bigger cities... i for one am a huge hockey fan, but i'm pretty sure that's canada's national sport
American football require very little Cardio fitness compared to other sports. I cannot understand the fascination with NASCAR, f1 or rally I could understand.
It is a variant of rugby union known as sevens. Rugby union being the 2nd most watched and participated sport in the world, behind real football, not the American kind.
Nascar requires great endurance and concentration. Football, yes does not require alot of cardio but it does however require a mental strength, and the person must be physically fit and able to take hits from people who can tackle with the same intensity as a car wreck. Dont dis our sports sir! lol I played football but im more of a hockey player myself I played for about 8 years.
Not "dising" any sports. Sevens requires probably the most mental strength out of any sport I have ever played, it is easily the most knackering and usually gets played at the end of the 15 a side season.
NASCAR may well require a level of endurance but I would be surprised if it required anywhere near the levels of a f1 driver. A lot of a f1 drivers time is spent at the gym as their body needs to he able to cope with the forces at the insane speeds they race at.
I know there are 24hour races at some of the tracks near me, I'll find out if there on TV if you want since you like endurance sports
baseball is THE HARDEST sport in the world. to hit a baseball square for a perfect hit is said to be physically impossible due to the fact that it it a sphere not a square, but we perfected doing that, now try it being a 100 mph fast ball to a 6 inch dropping curve ball with a 30 mph speed difference
