MY FIRST WALLPAPER WORK .... SUGGESTIONS??/COMMENTS??

So I recently got cs5 the other day, been tinkering with it, getting a feel for all the tools. Where they at, what they all do, getting familiar with what I can do and how to do it. I was working on a wallpaper for xgc. I did the background and foreground content from scratch, I got the idea for the main content from the cia logo. If you got any suggestions and tips on how I can improve, they would be much appreciated...

how did you go about creating the effects?

gradient fills using different shades and capacities for the background, and the circle marquee tool with just various different layer settings such as difference and delusion and such. As well as a little emboss and glow and shadow for the center logo.
