Back in the days of bridging, modding, and hacking in Halo 2 I use to be a part of KSI... (Yes, I was a cheater as well, but I usually just bridged to prevent being lagged.) I was under Se7en which I am sure many people know or have heard of. Throughout my time there I slowly started to hate KSI because it was BS. The clan leaders were BS. You could be promoted for no reason at all. And, they were starting new divisions just for the sake of starting new divisions... I guess they had the philosophy of (Progress for the sake of progress.) But, in my eyes, progress for the sake of progress is not justified. If you do that, before long, you are left with nothing but a bunch of dead weight. You need to have progress in wake of necessity.
Anyway, a short while after I had joined KSI, I was quickly pomoted to General and became a clan leader. I held rank in the XS division which I don't even remember what that represented now, although it is far from important anymore, as being in KSI is similar to being Japanese in America during WWII. It isn't fun...lol Not too far after that I had heard that XGC was formed from the ashes of a KSI division. From that point on XGC was an enemy. Many a time I was offered similar position in XGC that I had in KSI but I didn't take it as I am a loyal person and stay that way until I see something shady occur. Well, luckily that never happened. I slowly stopped playing Halo 2, sold my regular xbox as the 360 had just came out and gave up on gaming for a very long time.
Then once, Halo 3 dropped, I realized that I definitely miss all the fun times I had playing online and decided to go ahead and pick me up a 360 and start playing Halo 3. I've been playing Halo 3 for about 2 to 2 1/2 months now. I got tired of how *non-community-like* the entire XBL service was. Microsoft seemed to have made it near impossible to make friends. Not that it is, but it certainly is a bit more complicated than the 360's predecessor.
After a while of being bored and tired of playing by myself I decided to try and find an online community where I could make friends, play in scheduled matches, and possibly be a part of something greater than myself, as to feel important and/or needed. I checked out KSI's website and made the decision to not return to that. As I searched google for Halo 3 clans, I remembered XGC. So I typed it in, got up on the forums, found me a clan that I liked, and asked to join. It took a little bit of work, but here I am. Quickly gaining respect and notoriety.
I truly don't feel that this story is at all important, but if you are bored it may be a good read. I feel that any chance I have to write something of substance, such as a story, poetry, or just some notes. I jump on that chance. Anything to further my ability as a writer and a story-teller. I hope to all of those who have read it, that you enjoyed it and look foward to the next piece that I may write
Peace
