NEGLECTED CLAN(S) & GENERAL(S) THAT RUN THEM

Only a little bit over two months being a part of XGC has already given me a bad taste. Tonight a clan almost lost a general. He/She is fit as a General in all aspects & beyond in XGC standards. This is ridiculous that clan/clans are left out in the dark, and this has been dragging on for awhile now. Ok, so the problem has been resolved, but that doesn’t excuse it from being brought to EVERYONE’S attention and it should be known.

There are neglected clans in XGC and there’s no need to be quiet about it guys. It’s almost like the higher ranks only favor and help out certain clans. I’m not bashing or de-ranking them, but a change has to be made. I’ve never heard of a General almost leaving because he or she is not getting the attention and the informative information to pass on to his/her clan. To stay on the safe side, nobody has to reply to this post, just wanted it known to the public.

XGC has a lot to offer for everyone (truth) and it shouldn’t be limited to certain groups/clans. Thanks for reading this. Not pointing a finger at anyone nor do I want to, but don’t push me to that point.

Did you happen to ask the General why they had a failed clan?
Why they didn't fix it?

As a general I ran 9 clans. As a Section Leader I ran 17 clans. Yes, that number is accurate. I went through many other clans as well helping them and so forth. Each time though, I held the GENERAL responsible for the ups and downs of their clan.

If someone got promoted to General but can't build their own clan, they shouldn't be general. If they need someone to come hold their hand to help them do their job, they shouldn't be general.

Everyone is so fast to judge the leaders above them versus looking in the mirror and holding themselves accountable for their own actions.

I happen to play HALO 3 more than anything else. If I was a General and for whatever reason all the people in my clan left I guess I would have to get me some new members. Off to playing HALO 3 I would go. 2 to 4 hours later of just playing games and meeting up with people I assure you I would have me some new recruits to help me build my clan back up.

A leader leads the way to success.
Posting something like this on a public forum is nothing more then drama which we do not like. I would appreciate it if you didn't do so again.

Thanks.

I can see why Hy doesnt want posts like these out there, but it brings up a good topic. Holding Generals accountable for the success/failures of their clan. I agree very much that its the case, though feel its a responsibility shared equally among all members.

The General has some crucial responsibilities, and if you can't handle them, your only doing your clan a disservice by holding the position. So you have people who are too stubborn to step down, but who can't give the clan the support it really needs. Theyre eventually removed...

When it comes to the survival of a clan, the leaders are often quick to step in to make sure it gets resolved as quickly as possible. I can't speak for XGC for obvious reasons, but based upon what I've seen in SYN, am guessing its the norm for all divisions.

Ultimately, IMHO all we can do is our personal best to try to bring in quality members who will support how XG functions, try to inform everyone as best we can and encourage all members to take their respective clan/squad operations more seriously.

It really does Ironikzz. There is always more we can do and more that we should've done. You can't take care of everyone, you can only take care of yourself and set a good example and hope others follow. But when your in a Leaders position you can control what is under you and it should be strong leaders like yourself and if you see them slipping, then actions should be taken before it gets out of hand. You can't control them, but you can control what happens to them and if they are where they should be or if someone else is better for the job!

well questioning things isn't bad, it keeps yourself on your toes... but this is just the wrong method of doing it... we would all be happy to talk to you more in depth online to answer questions before you post something online like this... you aren't in the wrong for having an opinion, it just isn't appropriate to air out dirty laundry without finding out the answers by talking directly to the source
