This was my first sprite sig and i absolutely love it.

I don't see the sprite tbh. Try fillin in the negative space.

How would fill the negative space ticket? even though it looks fine like this anything you put there will probably disrupt the flow

Perhaps edit the dimensions, or something like that.

Or even add text to the left side?

Add a space stock or somthing. It just looks really empty on the left.
