>> its not the use of color i am against its the use of non complimenting colors that pisses me off, if this confuses you go in my sig click on the color thing, read it and use it, ignore the square and rectangle thing at the end since its stupid. light blue, yellow, & pink are actually used a lot together in tags in the style of this one because they're bright and look pretty good together, if you notice their in a triangle pattern on the color wheel, well practically.

okay now onto the tag, the completely vertical lines on the right you made go against the flow, the half opaque ones. take them out, the left sides effects look messy as does the curved line on the bottom of the tag, if they were cleaned up to look like the lines on the right it would look much better.

I think you put a gradient over the focal, um it looks alright for blue/pink but the yellow on his hair looks weird, should have just left it at blue/pink. kinda empty too, but itll all come back eventually.

I gotta say the effects don't go with the focal (coloring doesn't help either); it has this dark serious feel and you've got a really hyper background.
