You wake up in the morning to look out on the lovely trees outside your house. The first thing you do is get dressed then run downstairs and quickly get ready for breakfast. Your parents are wondering why your being so obedient today, then they look to the calendar and realize what day it is, the day is September 11, 1977. You patiently wait for your parents to finish eating and then you pop the major question at the table. "Mom and Dad may i get a Atari 2600? I promise i will work hard to pay you back for it, but i need to have this its the biggest thing ever." Your Parents Reluctantly Agree but on condition you must work at a paper route to get the money payed back to your parents. You Get the Atari and your hooked and cant get off it now. It is the Beginning of your Journey into becoming a gamer.
Several Years Later when you are 18 Years old, the Year is 1985. The new Hype is out of Japan were a new Gaming System called the NES or Nintendo Entertainment System. All the gamers are gearing up for the North America Release, this includes you. Though you were not happy with the recent other counsels including the Atari 2600's Successors. But for some reason this new system draws your attention and seems almost captivating. You Know you have been saving up for it while working at Burger King. The day roles around for the system launch and your reminded of that day eight years ago when you woke up to ask your parents about the Atari and how happy you were when they said yes. When you played this system you felt a instant bond in which you believed it would last forever.
Five Years Later a new system broke into your life once more this time its the SNES or Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The one diffrence with this system is now your an adult and you dont have as much free time due to collage and work. But you suck it up and buy it anyway and you wernt dissatisfied with the purchase infact it made you feel younger like when you played when you were younger.
