With Ubisoft's current titles underworks, it is no surprise that the sequel to one of the best games of 2007 would still be no where near completion. Ubisoft announced that they plan to release Splinter Cell Convictions, Ghost Recon(Working Title), and Assassins Creed 2 around the time frame of March 2009 and February 2010. With that said, CEO Yves Guillemot made an announcement suggesting that Ubisoft also has two more games their working on. These include: Anno and I am Alive. For the fans of Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon, news about those games will be available down the road.

The Story:

As a big fan of Assassins Creed I have had my share of idea's for the story. In the previous one you were a modern day man captured by scientists and experimented on to learn of your relatives in the past. In the experiments you were put into a dream world where the gamer would control the current event's. When you were not in the dream world, you were locked into a room to sleep. I think that it would be cool to see a modern day storyline. With the same basic concept used in the first game. The things that happen to you are reality, and the people you kill are world leaders. Unfortunately at this point, we only know that the game is in the works. There has been no teaser trailer or interviews with the designers to this date. The best thing we can do is sit back and wait for the teaser trailer.

The Gameplay:

Nothing will make me madder than a change in the game controls. While most people found the controls difficult, they are really very simple. With time and commitment I think that anyone would have learned to love the way you move and the beauty of a kill. This game took a Ninja Gaiden and GTA concept and joined the two idea's. How many of you dropped into a crowd and next thing you know you are running from the guards. The chase only makes the kill all that more satisfying. Have you ever had to reach a height in the game and then dive into the hay below? Giving the many perks to the game, I think so many people sold this game short. If you haven't played Assassins Creed, I recommend you take the time to pick up a copy. Playing the first one will make the second one easier.
