the point is, you shouldnt be promoting theft to anyone.
lest of all teenagers, who make up the bulk of this websites users.
by calling yourself a "good person" that bad things happen to, who also tells people to steal, you are commiting a falsehood. everyday people get shot, have car accidents, get cancer, and die. be thankful that you are still alive.
i do not agree with all that big corporations do, but microsoft offers us a great service. xbox live is only .1369 cents a day. thats pretty darn cheap, considering most people spend hours online at a given time.
the point is, you are committing a crime, and you shouldnt be proud of it, let alone post it in a public forum, so that others can follow.
and please take this with the utmost respect, because i, too, love xg and its members, im just trying to uphold some sort of honor here.
Precisely.
A) We do NOT promote theft. EVER!
B) XBox Live is cheap. AND when we have SERIOUS issues with it, they redeem us, to an extent that they do not have to go to. All of my silver tags went gold this month, plus, I got a free arcade game. For no reason other than MS underestimated the impact that all of these new users were going to have on their service. I spend at least 4 hours a day on XBL. And most of us leave our XBox's running!
You are returning a product that has malfunctioned. When I bought my 360, I knew that it had issues. I spent $60 on a two-year warrantee throught Best Buy. I have only had my XBox fail once in the past year, but I pulled a brand-new one off of the shelf, no questions asked. If you do NOT feel the need to purchase an extended warrantee through the distributer, than you must go through the manufacturer. At which point, you have a three-year warrantee. They pay for S&H now. They do not charge you for parts. They will send you a NEW box if your old one is beyond repair.
The fact of the matter is that MICROSOFT is at fault for the issues that are on-going with the 360. Not GameStop, not WalMart, not Best Buy. They do not manufacture the product. Microsoft offers a three-year warrantee now. I, when I bought my 360, got the two-year warrantee for 60 dollars. I am happy with that, I returned my 360 when it died 9 MONTHS later, with no hassle. This is after using it CONSTANTLY.
People who return an item, for whatever reason, and get their old box put on the shelves... that is what is giving XBox a bad name.
I will be following your posts, and if I see another one that even so much as hints at this, I will consider you warned that you are harming the integrity that XG founds itself upon, and you will find yourself banned from the forums.
And, might I add... If you have a problem with buying "lemon" cars - move to a state that has a lemon law, like NH, or read the fine print before you purchase.
