My Gamertag is RG ANUBIS LO. My previous Gamertags were SYN Echelon and XGC ANUBISx XS. Before I left I was the General of SYN Ambush. My Section Leader at the time was SYN PENGUIN XS. I left in August to join Respect Gaming. The reason I left is quite simple. Many of the founding members of RG had been my friends that I had meet over three years ago through XG. After Coming back from Army IET (Initial Entry Training) those people stayed in contact with me and we remained good friends. When they decided to leave and start a new community I had to make a decision. That was either to go with the people I had know since I had joined and assist them In creating a community or stay in XG with many people I had only known for a month or two. It wasn't easy but I made the decision to leave knowing that I may not be able to come back.
When I left I encouraged my clan members to stay and trained a replacement. I have not poached or talked down about XG. I have done my best to be as peaceful as possible. While gone I assisted in creating much of the foundation of RG from a document standpoint. I helped revise and draft their Rank Structure, Code of Conduct, and Classes. I also did the majority of the website and forum creation for the first few months.
While I believe that RG is right for some gamers, it is not for me. I myself thruogh all of this have not felt welcome. Once I purchased my XBOX ONE that became more evident. RG has no XB1 clans at this time and it seems they are a long was down the road.
Recently I have meet and gamed with quite a few of Xiled Gamings XBOX ONE users. I have to say it have been an outstanding experience getting to know them and game with them. Even being a former member I feel I am part of the group. In RG I feel ostracized.
The three and a half years I spent in XG have been some of the best experiences I have had gaming. I have met hundreds of gamers through Xiled Gaming, and I would like to think that I, in my own way, helped make the idea that is XG possible for many of them. The lessons I learned while being a member have helped me both online and off. Throughout all that XG has always made me feel welcome. Regardless of what you decide I will remain friends with many XG members and I wish only the best for Xiled Gaming and its members.
I apologize for the lengthy post, but thank you for your consideration.
