ROCK BAND 2 OR GUITAR HERO IV

Just curious to see what you all think about the new Guitar Hero being the same type thing as Rock Band? Maybe Guitar Hero should have its name changed to BandHero. Just wondering what people think.

Guitar Hero IV is gonna be just like Guitar Hero III, just updated graphics and a new song list... so of course Rock Band 2 would be like Rock Band. That's what I'm gonna have to go with, although I'll definitely buy both... I think Rock Band 2 is gonna keep the throne with just having the better list of songs. And, it might just be me, but they come out with DLC a bit more.

with drums and singing. and other stuff. its nothing like Guitar Hero III. Guitar Hero: World Tour (GH 4) is pretty much the same thing as rock band, just a few things different.

GHIV isnt gonna just be an addon to GHIII...it will have drums and lyrics also.

yeah, rock band has more modern songs...but the guitar hero drums WILL have 2 symbols on top and 3 pads...the 3 pads are G,R,Y and the symbols are B,O

Oh i wasnt sure of the colors and stuff. but I still may pick Rock band 2, i dont have the first rock band yet.

If you buy Rockband, then you would need people to play with. I don't think it is a good game to play alone. On the other hand, you can play GH4 by yourself, so I would buy GH4.

i'd have to say i can play guitar hero substantially better than rock band so i'd hope that guitar hero's drum set would be easier as well.

Just the interface looks cleaner in GH series to me and its easier to play. I already have rock band (1) and GH(1-3) so it might just come down to paying less if rock band 1 is compatable....im not huge on paying for more DLC as i feel 190$ is enough and I never will pay 200$ for just 1 game (unless its like the end all be all game for the rest of my life)

For me, i've always been loyal to Guitar Hero, so im getting GH4. I found Rock Band to be way to easy and not very challenging. I mean playing Expert on Rock Band is like playing on Hard on GH3.

Definitely getting Rock Band 2. The setlist is awesome (Might Might Bosstones, Jimmy Eat World). Plus, all my friends will be getting it over GHIV.

Actually so are the Rock Band Drum Set, The symbols will be sold Separately at a later date, but the drum set has little slots for symbols.

Yea i think both look good, but i would much rather play Guitar Hero than Rock band. There is a better song selection in my opinion.

Rock Band 2 all the way. I am not touching GH4. with Rock Band 1 songs being able to be backwards compatible its the best choice.
