Xbox 720 or code named Durango is the new upcoming predecessor of our beloved 360. A lot of people are wondering how could anything surpass our 360, but I can honestly say when I’m done here you will be quite impressed. The 720 is not set to release till early 2014 with the PS4 set to release this winter how will Xbox stand up to the PS4’s early release? Xbox is holding out till next year to work out bugs and get a set of quality servers to surpass PS4 and a better quality system.
Xbox 720 will have quite a package under the hood when it’s released. Its AMD Radeon HD 8000M series graphics chip makes games graphics quite a punch and lush as the PS4 and will have twice as much processing power of the Wii U. A few games that we are looking forward to being released on the console will be Assassin Creed 4 and the big one Halo 5.
The 760’s 16GB Memory or Ram will make multitasking a breeze and load times amazingly fast with little to no lag time. The greatest new addition to the 720 is the Blue Ray Player, which takes PlayStation’s lead over the Xbox away on that part. The 720 will also include a new improved Internet Explorer so PS4 lets see you step up now. With the new console come some very needed updates like a broader friends list with over a 1000 friends, and it plans to be more interactive with social networking sites such as Facebook.
The release of the 720 means the release to a new improved Kinect 2 system. This system will be set to have one of the most integrated movement readings and voice recognition software and more interactive with social networking and video chats as well as party chats. You will be able to finally move and control Internet Explorer with just direct hand movements. The Kinect may actually use your eye recognition to log into your account on Xbox Live, which I think that would be pretty sweet.
The 720 will be a force to be recon with once it is released; PlayStation 4 will have quite a challenge to keep up with the Xbox. The Xbox will try to be more than just a gaming console it wishes to be a 360 entertainment system to bring everything you love and enjoy into one, making entertainment less complex and less waiting and tons of fun for every kind of consumer from family games to die hard competitive multiplayer.
