So, if you dont meet the requirements or recommendations for the game, it will still run, just...slower. The game is still fun but it gets a little patchy when swarms of Zerglings come at you or if the game tries to load a cut-scene that isnt actually a movie. The movies are like watching the World of Warcraft cutscenes - theyre still beautiful despite the video game chip i have in my laptop (that came with it, so it sucks).
All in all i think everyone should still get it despite what your pc's capabilites may be. The campaign is still fullfilling and i cant wait to play a skirmish match to play around with some of the new Zerg models. Im not too far along the campaign, but it looks as though you do a selective amount of missions that still lead down the same tunnel-vision ending, you gain money/credits in doing each mission, and you upgrade your units along the way with said credits. Theres also a research table elsewhere in your ship for you to customize your warfare with either protoss or zerg research that you gain along the way in campaign which helps customize your army. Each campaign is unique in its own way -- im not saying theres a protoss or zerg campaign, that i know not of -- i simply state each persons customization may be different than anothers. Some may want the flamethrowers, some the cannons.
P.S. you can also have some guns-for-hire.
